The space

Our four-bedroom home is spacious and comfortable with a beautiful neutral color palette that’s cozy all year through. Complete with laminate and ceramic flooring, beautiful wood cabinetry, and lots of natural light, this is the perfect retreat to switch off and unwind.

As you walk in the house features an open floor plan comprised of a kitchen, dining area, and living space. The spacious kitchen boasts granite countertops, stainless appliances, and its very own breakfast nook. The breakfast nook is complimented by an additional formal dining area that functions as the perfect space to break bread with family and friends, making the most of your time away.

A spacious living room is the focal, featuring a family-sized sofa and footstool to put your feet up and relax after a fun-filled day exploring Louisiana’s capital. A dedicated office space is situated adjacent to the living area, enclosed by beautiful French doors for peace and privacy.

Our home includes four bedrooms, one of which is an impressive master suite with a king bed, walk-in closet, granite-topped wooden vanity, and upgraded multi-head shower. Bedrooms 2, 3, and 4 are equally comfortable with a queen, double, and two single beds respectively, easily hosting a total of 8 guests. The communal bathroom includes a bath-shower and a dual vanity. The living room and all four bedrooms have a Roku TV with Netflix for quiet nights in.

The living room leads onto a large covered patio and backyard that’s designed especially for outdoor entertaining. The patio includes ample seating for your entire party to enjoy a leisurely brunch. The large yard is safe and secure, making it ideal for adventurous children.

A corner lot allows for a double-car carport and there is additional parking behind the storage area.

Guest access

Self-check-in with a smart lock maximizes convenience, allowing you to arrive at the property at a time that suits you best. Guests have use of the whole house and garden and are free to use all amenities provided. Please note that the outdoor storage area is off-limits.

Other things to note

Each bedroom along with living room has a Roku TV with Netflix.

House Rules:

We can accommodate a maximum of eight individuals on the premises. Please be advised that hosting parties or events is strictly prohibited. An additional charge of $50 per guest will be incurred for any individuals exceeding the count of eight without prior consent. We place great value on transparency and open dialogue. Should you wish to address this matter, we encourage forthrightness and are available for discussion. These guidelines are established to safeguard our property and ensure a secure and enjoyable experience for all guests.

Kindly observe the commencement of quiet hours at 11 pm.

Upon departure, we request that you gather used towels, dispose of refuse in the designated bin on the side of the house, and confirm the security of the front and laundry doors. Your pivotal role in upholding the condition of the property is sincerely appreciated.

To prevent obstruction or other plumbing issues, we urge you to refrain from depositing items such as feminine hygiene products, contraceptives, and paper towels into the toilet.

Smoking within the interior of the residence is strictly prohibited. A designated patio area is available for smoking purposes. Detection of smoking within the premises through monitoring devices, such as smoke detectors and noise level monitors, will result in a $500 cleaning fee, provided it is ascertained to be the result of cigarette or vape smoke—no illicit substances are permitted.

Violating these regulations may result in the cancellation of the reservation through VRBO and the involvement of local law enforcement to facilitate your prompt departure from the premises. We uphold these guidelines with utmost seriousness to ensure a secure and pleasant stay for all our guests.

This was a wonderful place. I consider myself lucky to have found it. The check-in process was as easy as ever, and the house did not disappoint at all. Very spacious and comfortable. Everything we needed was available. Absolutely no complaints about the house and property, and you couldn’t ask for a better host. Definitely 5 star worthy.

Wonderful home!
Everything was perfect! Plenty of room for all of my family and the home was very clean. Property owner went way above and beyond to accommodate us and our needs. Bedrooms were roomy and comfortable. The outdoor covered patio area was nice and very private. I would definitely stay here again.
