This is a very nice, modern motor hotel. It is on a ring road that surrounds Bayeux so if you’re driving it’s a good choice. By European standards the rooms are big and bathrooms gigantic. It has a great breakfast buffet and offers a limited menu dinner in the evening. We did not have a rental car so we thought its location was a bit inconvenient as the city center was about a 15 minute walk but that was the only downside for us.

The area right at the property is the edge of the city and isn’t quite walkable however can be done with like 20-30 minute walk you’ll arrive in a beautiful old village with lots of shopping sightseeing and food and this is an easy drive to Omaha beach and even Utah beach We enjoyed our stay there and the Hôtel restaurant was good too

A really good hotel and typical of the Novotel brand. The facilities and the staff were first class. The staff were more than willing to help and their use of English was excellent. The bedroom was clean and comfortable. The bar and restaurant facilities were well managed. Our only regret is that we did not take our swimming gear, so we missed out on using the outdoor heated pool! Well done Novotel Bayeaux and thank you.

Overnight stay
Overnight stay on road trip around normandy. Very small room with 1 double and 2 single beds. Was an ok stay but not the best hotel on our trip especially considering this was the most expensive.
