Fun Weekend Getaway!
We had a great stay at the float house! While the interior is a bit dated, it didn’t affect our experience. The upstairs back covered deck was a favorite spot for us to relax. We enjoyed walking to The Dock for dinner, which had delicious food and live outdoor music. For breakfast, we walked to Ralph's coffee shop, which was also a pleasant experience. We boated to Bayview and had to arrange moorage on our own, which cost an extra $75 per night. It would be more convenient if the spot in front of the house could be reserved at time of booking and the fee included in the rental price. The walk from the float house to the marina office was quite long. The kitchen was well stocked, and the bathrooms provided nice towels and toiletries. However, we felt the 10 a.m. checkout time was a bit early, especially since we were leaving by boat. A checkout time of 11 a.m. would have been more reasonable. While we received an email offering a paid late checkout option, we had already spent $150 on boat parking, so we opted not to.

Can't beat being on the water!
This home was great. Yes, it's a bit outdated, but the location makes up for it. This property is a must-see if you're a boater or a lake lover. The price was great as well, considering neighboring properties, some even on the same doc, are listed at 3X the price as this property. Thanks for having us. We will be back!

Fun, comfortable family spot, close to Silverwood.
It’s like staying at your favorite uncles boat house. Comfortable beds, two bathrooms and a lovely upstairs deck over looking the bay. Mitch has everything you need if you want to cook in.

Great VRBO option
Float home was spacious for our family to spread out. Everything's was as listed. Suggestions: update the standard check-in email with relevant information. The "10-digit code" doesn't exist. The wifi information is inaccurate. The downstairs TV wasn't functional and would randomly turn off after about 30 seconds. Turn the lights off in the locked rooms. The light emanating from them gives off creepy vibes like someone is in there.

Fun stay
Great place to stay. Love the upper deck area.... so peaceful especially in mornings with coffee. Our family launched our paddle boards off dock and had a blast exploring. Just wish in future we could bring our lab:)... and house needs a dish scrubber and hair dryer... other than that was wonderful.

The People Are Trash
The people who work at the property were unforgivably rude to us, they lied to us or the listing was inaccurate and we didn't have 2 parking spots which was huge pain and then they laughed at us LOUDLY through broken windows in their dilapidated marina for wearing masks. Then we witnessed soemone in the marina destroy a goose nest filled with eggs.. I hated this trip, and will most likely never book with VRBO again.

Fun Float house.
Was nice to have the boat outside our door even though it was an extra charge. Being on the water was great but the house was tucked in amoung other houses. View was not great. Wonderful lake and weather was nice. Bayview is a fun little town.

Clean and Comfortable!
Great location, close to Silverwood. Clean, quiet and cozy. We really enjoyed being here! The covered deck has a great view of the water and surrounding mountains, rain or shine, it was the perfect spot. Seeing all of the other boat houses was a fun experience. Bring your kayak or SUP! Easy walk to the Mercantile, which has a little bit of everything and friendly service. When it rained,we watched a movie and played games. We would like to come again!

This location was everything we expected, plus more. The king bed upstairs was so comfortable that I hated to leave. We really enjoyed the upstairs patio area for relaxing and fishing. Silverwood is 20 mins away. I would definitely stay here again.

Could use some definite updating
Only two burners worked on stove and one of those "smoked" a lot when turned on, so we didn't use but one small burner AND that one didn't always turn off without having to fiddle with knob. Upper bedroom had no windows, thus no ventilation. Even with portable AC was VERY hot and stuffy. Stairway leading to upper level had non working light fixture so quite dark in evening going up and down. Could definitely use some updating in and out. Dark paneling on lower level and on dark side even with blinds open. We DID enjoy upper outside porch area. Spent most of time there when "home" in evenings.

Okay Place
A bit dated, but worked for us. Just know you will have to pay for a boat slip because one is not provided. There is also no where to swim from the property. It is in the middle, other boat houses beside and behind, deck is not private. Inside is set up weird, like it’s been added onto. You have to go through a screen door up to the deck and then there is a loft with a king bed. I’ve never stayed in a boat house so not sure if that’s how they all are. We couldn’t get the tv upstairs to work and it’s in a sitting room, no tv in the loft room.

Nice, clean, but could be better.
The first thing is I didn't see a smoke detector. The unit has old square TV'S which cut out some of the picture. Not a big deal unless you watch sports and can only see one teams score. The place is clean enough though. I have had a couple rentals myself and I gave all the modern conveniences plus some. That gives you repeat renters. This is a one time rental. Nothing special.
