The holiday home is located in Rijkel aan de bos, near the lovely village of Beesel, voted the "Greenest Village in the Netherlands" and known for the Dragon Stitches festival (11-19 August 2023) that is held every seven years. The forest is part of the Maas-Swalm-Nette nature reserve. Sitting on the terrace you look out over the unspoilt Maas valley. There is a lot of nature around the nature house. It is an official quiet area; it is very quiet. The paths lead through the forest and fields with a view of the rivers Swalm and Maas. There are many forest and dirt roads for lovely walks. With dozens of beautiful cycling routes. Possibility of fishing. A foot ferry to Neer in season. With children's playground, football goals and trampolines. Shops five minutes by car. 3 kilometers from Swalmen station. The Pieterpad is 4 kilometers from here. The A73 is seven minutes by car. The house is located eight kilometers from the largest brand outlet center in Europe: the Designer Outlet McArthurGlenn in Roermond.
