South full, an old farm of 1789, completely renovated has found again to its soul with its big chimney and old beams. Lovely house, lovely area
A beautiful old farmhouse, lovingly restored, in a peaceful setting on the edge of a quiet village. The description was accurate. We particularly liked the fact that it's a real and much-loved family house and not a sterile made-for-rental unit. The amenities are simple and the bedrooms would be rather crowded if every bed was occupied, but everything worked and it was very clean. The shady garden with its views of hills and valley and its outdoor kitchen was a delight to eat and hang out in. The owners were charming and justifiably proud of their house. The area has attractions of all kinds, though the mountain roads make for slow travelling. We had a wonderful time there.

Habitation parfaite quo correspond à l annonce, c est à dire vielle bâtisse, habitée, bien aménagée avec des espaces extérieurs séparés. Seul bémol, la maison est très sonore mais on peut s isoler dans ces 2 jardins.

maison charmante avec une terrasse équipée en cuisine extérieure et jolie vue sur la montagne
Nous avons passé une belle semaine en famille dans cette maison au charme des vieilles demeures qui ont su garder leur fraicheur, ce qui esr appréciable en ces temps de canicule. Belle vue sur la forêt des montagnes, en haut d'une rue très calme et pas éloignée des commerces d'alimentation. Le point fort de la maison est ces deux terrasses dont l'une est une véritable cuisin extérieure bien ombragée, nous y avons passé de très bons moments. Le lac à 10 minutes à pied, avec ces chalets, sa guinguette et ses jeux pour enfants est un très agréable endroit de rencontre avec les touristes et habitants dans un très beau cirque de montagnes. Sans faire de jeux de mots, nous avons eu le plaisir d'y assister avec nos petits enfants au spectacle du cirque La Cabriole, d'une grande qualité. C'est aussi le point de départ de randonnées toujours bien ombragées grâce à la richesse de la foret environnante. Ce fut une très agréable semaine avec nos fils et petits enfants, merci à cette noble maison et à ces sympathiques propriétairse. ,

Beautiful old farmhouse, lovely area and enjoyable stay
A beautiful old farmhouse dating from the Napoleon area, peacefully positioned on the edge of the little Belcaire village. The house is spacious and surrounded by nice gardens. Don't expect the modernst of comfort, the house is rustic and amenities are simple but that makes exactly the charm of this place. During colder days the fire place provides plenty of warmth and makes a great ambiance. The gardens look out over the hills and valley and make a nice place to eat and hang out in. Although we did not meet the owners they were very concerned and charming, attending to all our needs. Because of a lightning storm the dishwasher got broken at the start of our stay, within 2 days a new dishwasher was installed. All in all the house breathes peace and tranquility. We had a wonderful time here.

Maison de caractère dans un cadre verdoyant
Cette location a répondu parfaitement à nos attentes ( nous étions un groupe de 8 ) offrant un cadre montagnard des plus sereins, le charme de l'ancien, un extérieur très apprécié pour son espace de cuisine et terrasse aménagés que nous avons largement exploité pour petits déjeuner, repas et farnienté sur les chaises longues au bénéfice d'une semaine particulièrement ensoleillé. Nous avons également profité avec bonheur des baignades dans le lac situé à quelques minutes à pied, de la belle salle d'escalade du village et des activités sportives praticables dans la région: via ferrata impressionnante de Saint Paul des fenouillets, hydro-speed, marche vers les sources chaudes... Le propriétaire s'est montré attentionné en nous appelant courtoisement en début et fin de séjour et la personne chargée de nous accueillir tout à fait charmante. Des vacances comme nous en avions rêvées!
