Lakefront Cabin on a private peninsula on the Mississippi

Don't miss out on this pristine, secluded piece of heaven located right on Stump Lake and the Mississippi River. Laze around in the kayaks and canoe, enjoy the sound of the wind whistling thru the pines while laying in a hammock amongst the trees. Fish and swim off the dock (available seasonally, generally May - September), explore the 15 acres of trails on this private peninsula and at night enjoy the crackle of a campfire while looking up at the stars.

We have 2 kayaks and 2 canoes along with paddles and life jackets for guests to enjoy. There is a beautiful firepit located right next to the water with lots of wood provided for those memory making campfires. Don't forget to pack your graham crackers, marshmallows, and chocolate bars for s'mores (or ask your host about having them available when you arrive!).

In the winter enjoy ice fishing, skiing (cross country trails are plentiful in the area, or downhill at Buena Vista Ski), snowshoeing and snowmobiling (equipment not provided with cabin rental, but is available to rent locally).

You will create precious memories at this property!

Morning coffee on the deck with a view of the gorgeous evergreens and lake along with eagles, deer and loons? Yes, please!

Visit Bemidji, the first city on the Mississippi and home of the iconic Paul and Babe statues, stroll around downtown and visit the small shops and brewery, check out the beautiful Bemidji State University campus, or meander around Diamond Park point and check out the boat rentals - whatever you are into there is something for everyone!

The cabin is a one bedroom, one and a half bath, two story peaceful dream! There is one queen bed with two additional queen sofa sleepers and two camp cots available as well. Sleeps 4 comfortably. The kitchen is fully stocked with dishware, glassware, utensils, and cooking amenities.
During your stay at this holiday home, you're just a quick walk from Mississippi River. You'll find features such as 1 hot tub. Free WiFi and in-room jetted baths are available in the holiday home.

A Fantastic Experience
We could not have asked for a better location to relax for our 50th wedding anniversary than the serene peninsula and cabin at Eagle's Point! We were there for a week, and we hated to leave. We fished, walked on the paths around the property, enjoyed sitting around the fire pit, played the provided yard games, and loved drinking coffee on the balconies each morning. It was a lovely experience in a very clean and comfortable cabin. Thank you, Tammy!!

Relaxing with beautiful scenery!!
This house is incredible. From the beginning of the driveway we felt the rustic beauty that Minnesota has to offer. The house is very clean and supplied with all the amenities and activities for all ages. We took advantage of the canoes/kayaks and in the evening enjoyed an awesome fire. The kids fished and had a blast; they are already planning a trip to return. This is the perferct place to unplug and unwind- just what we were looking for. Memories for years to come were made during our stay. Highly recommend!

A piece of Heaven on Earth
This cabin is everything that's been mentioned and more. Our family of four spent 4 nights here and enjoyed every minute! There are lots of amenities and everything we needed. We saw beautiful Bald Eagles (and their baby), deer, river otters, ducks, loons, and so much more. We loved the fire pit overlooking the river and enjoyed taking the canoe out on the river. Tammy is wonderful and responds very quickly. Itaska State Park is less than an hour's drive from here and well worth the trip. Thank you to Tammy for sharing this beautiful property with our family and so many others!

Wonderful place to stay
We had a wonderful time at this property. You can really tell that Tammy puts a great deal of care into this place and really thinks of everything. We really appreciated that all the little things were provided- paper towels, trash bags, etc. There were even cute little Paul Bunyan truffles waiting for us the first night! The location is gorgeous and so private. We loved kayaking on the lake and watching the sunset and sunrise. Fabulous place and we would definitely book again!

Perfect Basecamp to Explore the Bemidji Area
This cabin just might be our favorite Vrbo yet. It's close enough to Itasca State Park, Carter's Farm, Bemidji State University, and downtown (Bemidji Brewing, Tara, Wasabi, Chocolate Plus, etc.), yet completely private and secluded. We enjoyed the lakeside fire pit, cornhole set, oversized tic-tac-toe, large bay windows, fall colors, and Shel Silverstein poems. The Paul and Babe truffles from Chocolate Plus were a nice touch too! It was a memorable getaway to the place where my wife and I first met. Was nice to catch up with old friends in town as well. We hope to be back soon!

Fabulous and peaceful cabin
If you are looking for a cabin that is peaceful and feels apart from the world, but also close to town in northern Minnesota, this is it. The location of this place on a narrow peninsula is magical -- you can see water for almost every window and deck, and with most of the living areas on the second floor, it feels almost like a treehouse. The property is spotlessly clean and full of amenities, from kayaks and a tea/coffee bar to a fire pit with wood and on-site trails for wandering. We've traveled a lot, and this was among the most special places we've stayed. Highly recommend!

Rest and Relaxation
We enjoyed our stay. Beautiful and tucked away among the trees.. all we could hear were the sounds of nature and the wind through the trees. Beautiful views in every room. Comfortable. Inviting. This is a beautiful property close to Bemidji shopping. We enjoyed our stay. The bedding was so soft and the morning coffees were delicious.

Perfect for relaxation and privacy
We had high hopes and it exceeded our expectations. We arrived to a very welcoming preparation (no spoilers but you'll like it), and found everything we needed to be comfortable. The kitchen was exceptionally well optioned for appliances, utensils and even spices. The main living area on the second floor meant we enjoyed the breezes and northwoods choir constantly. We had no issues with mosquitos, likely the dragonflies doing their job, but the flies could be persistent on ground level close to the cabin or out on the trails. Bug Spray takes care of this. The decks off the living room and bedroom are high enough off the ground to be off the pest bugs flight path. We spent a lot of time out there reading/relaxing with no issues from insects and no bug spray required. The air conditioning in the bed room is perfect and enabled a good night sleep even on the hottest of evenings. I used the canoe for fishing while visiting and caught bass and northern pike without having to paddle far. (minnows fished just off the bottom). there is a substantial weed mat around the pier but you can catch fish using surface lures or casting just beyond it with weedless lures. There are two nice benches on the pier and I was not pestered by insects at the end of the pier even without bugspray. We enjoyed seeing and hearing much wildlife including but not limited to: Herons, Ducks with ducklings, Loons with loon chicks, Deer & fawns, a huge snapping turtle who apparently is a regular visitor, really silly squirrels and a beaver who toured by the pier regularly. Despite being genuinely remote and private you are less than 15 minutes from Bemidji making shopping, dining or access to the paved biking trails a breeze and available to spontaneous consideration. All in all it was a lovely get away for my wife and I. We definitely recommend the property for a very civil and comfortable stay in a very rustic and remote environment. We plan on returning at some point.
