Hotel states it’s a 4 star but definitely not. Basic hotel . No tea/coffee facilities in room. 2 single beds pushed together in which moves apart all the time . 2 single duvets. Tv channels poor. Asked for double room at time of booking and then spoke to reception and all Rooms are the same single beds not even clipped together . Not what you want for couples weekend break away

Only irritation with all staff I asked was, how much this hotel charges for childrens breakfast. All with different answers... At the bill: its nearly the same for a 9 year old or an adult... And if I would moan about something at this hotel: breakfast is really very very basic. Nothing special at all

Poor attention to detail on cleaning, replenishing tea and coffee. Lack of utensils for kitchen and poor wi-fi connection. Recommended car park only accepts cash - reception team give no advance warning and couldn't care less when informed.

DON'T STAY AT THIS HOTEL!taking
Building works were taking place adjacent to the hotel and we we not told before booking. Woken up by pile driving and machinery moving at 0700. Complained about it but was ignored. The other issue was the room was hit so we opened a window but at 0530 staff outside the rear of the building were chatting and smoking. The staff at reception were not interested in any complaints and in fact were rude.

The location was GREAT! Restaurants good shopping is just 800 meters away from the hotel front door. Happy times! Breakfast is great and abundant. Enjoy! Rooms are a bit old and restroom/loo/bathroom is a bit small. However, the staff and how clean everything is, made the stay well worth. Happy stay!

The location is excellent for eating out. The front of house staff were not friendly, the bar employee needs to find his career path was being a bar tender does not suit his personality. The room & corridor had the smelliest & dirtiest carpets. The shower has mould everywhere. The room was a good size but bedding & furniture very dirty. Take your own pillows as the ones supplied are flat & do not offer any support.

First of all, feels like is a 4 starts hotel only at reception, the room was horrible, ugly, cub webs hair in shower... control remote for the tiny tv didnt work because the batteries were damage...receptionist very arrogant when we asked why it was a 4 stars hotel when the rooms were so poor qualify answering that we can not expect more for the money we paid.Breakfast was ok but a waiter started shouting at my husband to not to touch the coffee machine because she needed to change the coffe filte. Very disappointed.

The rooms were very clean, staff helpful and great location. The only downside was the corridors were dark and dated and number missing off the door- 33 instead of 331. The fridge didnt work but we didnt use it anyway.

4 star hotel? Nope!
This is definitely not a 4 star hotel. As soon as we walked in, the lights in the lobby were flickering like in a horror movie. Our room looked like the inside of a Motel 6. One of the lamps in our room wasn’t working so we requested a technician to come and fix it. Hotel staff said they’d come later that evening, and no one ever came. This hotel is definitely older and needs upgrades to be considered “4 star.” However, it is in a great location! Close to the public transportation systems and near a shopping area.

I have stayed here in s number of occasions and I normally have no issues with anything. However, on this occasion I was given a room facing the back of the hotel where construction work was being carried out. No mention was made of this prior to my stay nor at the reception when I checked in . Not a nice view at all! However, since I was taking my daughter to see the sights in Berlin, we did not spend a lot of time in the room so it was not something for us to complain about as these things happen. It would have been considerate of the hotel staff to inform us though! That is not good customer service. No kettle in the room is something I should have remembered but I am so used to hotels have I g tea making facilities nowadays that I was really disappointed. I could have hired one for 5 Euros a day but bought one instead for 15 Euros. It’s very light and will now be my ‘travelling kettle’ . The food at breakfast is good. Coffee/tea/ scrambled egg/ boiled eggs/ cereals/ bread/ rolls/ croissants/ pastries/ jams/ ham/ cheese/ fruit juices and yoghurt and fruit salad. It is replenished regularly! One major flaw in this visit was the fact that the lifts broke down. Now I appreciate that things like this can happen and it takes time to repair. However, I arrived on the Sunday afternoon and one out of the two lifts which service all floors was out of order. By Tuesday evening no lifts were working! Attention to detail is lacking here!

First of all, this is not a 4-star hotel, probably 2, I would say. The staff was very friendly, the room was clean and was cleaned every day. The shower was getting filled with water, I reported it to reception and it was fixed the next day. The minibar did not work at all, the small fridge was broken so the drinks were all the time at room temperature, reported the problem 3 times to reception but it was never fixed/changed... The location of the hotel is very nice, close to stations and main attractions. If you can get a good deal for this hotel take it as it is alright, otherwise I would better look somewhere else.

Good Quality For The Price
For the price, this place is good. The hotel is in a nice area of which I was not afraid to walk around at night, alone. The wifi signal was strong and had a fast speed. Staff was friendly and spoke various languages, including English, but that is quite common for Europe. Surrounding the hotel there is a grocery store (Lidl) and multiple restaurants. It is also close to a few train stations and many shops. Next time I stay in Berlin I will definitely look into this hotel again if I decide to stay in this area. They will hold your bags in bag storage for 1 Euro per article which was nice since I had a tour booked after check out.
