We stayed here for a night in the middle of July after a long day of traveling to Berlin from the US. I was hesitant to book this hotel due to the small rooms and AC issues I read in other recent reviews, but our stay was awesome. Room was clean, space was small but if you have carry-on’s and backpacks only like us, this won’t be an issue. Bar is open after midnight till 0230 and the staff was nice. We kept asking for ice in our bottles and they happily scooped it for us every time. It is HOT in Berlin in the summer, and AC was sufficient. I have been to many European countries and travelers have to understand that AC elsewhere isn’t freezing cold like the US where it is blasted in hotels and businesses. Bathroom and standing shower space is adequate for an average sized person. Bus is right across the street. Pay for breakfast or wait for the chinese food restaurant to open next door. We would totally stay here again.

This hotel has excellent transportation right across the road. The bus 144 is there and it goes to the uber station. I took buses back and forth with no problem, even late at night. Someone wrote the transportation is far away, they are wrong. This was an excellent hotel, and Rita the front desk helper was a diamond.
