A place to stay
I only stayed for one night to attend the concert of Cuco in Hole 44. It was optimal for this purpose. The staff was competent and friendly, the room clean and pleasant. I can recommend the hotel who don't want to stay in the city: the public transportation is good.

Good hotel
Good service, and was someone available to help pretty much at any time. Well located, but it is on a well used road, so can get noisy during peak time. The room is large and generally well set up. It could have done with a chair to use with the desk. The shower room was effectively a wet room, making it very convenient and accessible. The position of the shower did mean that you need to pay attention to it's direction or risk sending water into the bedroom itself.

We had a great stay! For a one night this was perfect, we had access to the U train which takes you pretty much to every connection for the city landmarks. Excellent choice!

Good place for price..
The room was ok for the price that we paid. It was clean and quiet. No air conditioning, but was able to use a fan provided by the front desk for a ten euro deposit. The hotel offered what looked like a decent breakfast, but we never ate there..the price seemed to much at 14 euros per person.

No coffee/tea facilities in room. No air conditioning so when our windows were open at night it was noisy, otherwise the hotel was good value for money. Thought breakfast was overpriced. Only went once, bought our own pastries, etc after. Underground and train stations nearby, so convenient to get into Berlin centre.

Probably Fine for a one or two night stay
We stayed for 5 nights. Unfortunately we stayed at the same time as a large school group of teenagers who were very loud and kept running past our door and windows. The 5th floor rooms all share a balcony so anyone staying up here can walk past your window. We mentioned this to reception who said it wouldn't happen again only for it to happen again the next night. We had to sleep with the windows closed because of the noise, the rooms have no air conditioning so this was extremely uncomfortable on what was a very hot week. After 3 nights here we noticed some fans left behind reception, when we asked about them we were told they could be brought up to the room for a €10 deposit. I wish we had known about this earlier in our stay Also our room was only cleaned twice in the 5 nights dispite us leaving out the sign for it to be cleaned. The room wasn't very clean when we checked in and one of the towels was covered in a sticky liquid that we can only hope was washing detergent. We had to repeatedly go to reception for new towels and toilet paper because these weren't changed. The staff at reception were very nice and very apologetic about the issues we had. I had stayed in this hotel previously and didn't have these issues so we might have just been very unlucky. I wouldn't stay again but if you are looking for a very basic hotel in a good location for a night or two this hotel is fine
