Memorable stay at Hoops Inn
We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 night stay. The room was clean and comfortable - a few hooks on doors and a grab handle to assist getting in and out of the shower would be helpful. Staff were all without exception delightful and extremely obliging and the food was superb. Breakfast was delicious with lots of choice and both evening meals were outstanding & better than anywhere else in the area! Huge compliments to all staff and the chef - we will be back for sure. Thank you!

Historic inn with great accommodation
Beautiful old inn that has been tastefully modernised. The bedroom and bathroom were spacious and comfortable. Excellent food and real ale available all day and evening. Surrounding countryside is stunning.

My wife & I experienced excellent service and loved the character of the inn with all its cosy nooks & crannies. Absolutely delicious evening meals. Staff very friendly. Loads of breakfast options, tasty. Highly recommend.

Very friendly staff, great for dogs . Our room (2) was massive, so no shuffling around the bed as in a lot of places. Food good too. The dog enjoyed her sausage for breakfast.

This is a very nice hotel in a secluded location. Very good food, good quality real ale and friendly staff made for an enjoyable stay. Only issue was forgotten as regards ordering evening meal, given menus but had to go to the bar to order.

My wife and I thought the hotel was excellent. Our room was lovely and we even had a spa bath, which we took advantage of. Only one small facility missing, a mini bar(Mainly for use as a fridge). The service was excellent as was the fod. The staff were friendly, helpful, professional and efficient. Ib a few words, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Great for an overnight stay. Plenty parking, but watch height restriction into main bit of carpark. Our room and I think most rooms, was away from bar area and road so not noisy. Really clean, good condition, great for an overnight stay, but standard room a bit small for an extended stay. Allow time for breakfast in the morning, great choice and cooked to order, worth the wait. Meal in bar in evening good. Staff all pleasant and helpful. Would stay here again and would recommend. We have stayed here many times and always found it to be excellent. Staff are friendly and always welcome our dog with cuddles and treats. However this time we did not enjoy staying in the family room which for two oldies was very noisy and outside lights in the yard on all night. Hasn’t put us off but will only book direct in future to ensure we get a room we want.
