Cute little cabin
Wonderful little cabin in Big Bear, just the right size for our group of 5 with our two dogs. Only glitch was at check in because keypad didn’t work. Within 15 minutes someone came to let us in. Nice yard for the dogs and us to hang out and nice amenities inside will definitely go again to this cabin

Nice place, bad experience
The cabin was nice, but communication was poor. Nobody was at the office at 4:30 PM (office hours were listed as 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM in email). It took an hour of calling several phone numbers to get my door code. Once inside, I needed maintenance to fix a chirping fire alarm and light switch. Maintenance came quickly, but left without fixing anything. I unplugged the fire alarm and set it outside. Spa did not work, kitchenware was severely lacking, and countless other problems.

We had a wonderful time. The cabin is not quite walking distance to the village, but is in a beautiful, quiet location. It is very close to a great hiking spot.

The Edgemoor Escape
The cabin was nice but unclean. I expect a clean cabin especially when the fee was non refundable. The place was cozy. There were items that need attention: Neither screen door closed correctly, latch on jacuzzi for holding cover on was on the ground, Kitchen cabinets and drawers were fillthy, top of refridgerator was filthy, pool table missing the #9 ball, couldn't turn off the living room ceiling fan light (could only dim to low). My husband and I liked the house and hope that the owner see's this so they can take action.

Great location near lake!
We really enjoyed the location of this property being so close to a popular trail and of course near the lake and boulder bay. It was also close to the village for shopping and great places to eat. We loved the open beamed ceiling with ample room for the whole family to spend time together, but still have a cozy feel. The pool table and spa was a great addition to the cozy place with a nice enclosed yard. We are definitely looking forward to staying here again!

Perfect spot for a family vacation
The house was just as described and we had a wonderful family weekend. We picked the house because of the proximity to the sledding across the street and although there wasn’t a ton of snow the kids enjoyed it very much. We also were able to do the Pine Knot trail which was beautiful. The house was very comfortable, and we had fun teaching our son how to play pool. The check in went smoothly and good communication, just slightly inconvenient having to check in at the office in the middle of the village first. We would definitely stay here again!

Not worth it
It was a nice cabin but all the dishes were filthy and the sheets were gross on the master. Didn't appreciate being told we didn't have to check in until last minute. We were originally told to go straight to the cabin. On top of it the cabin was completely empty and they wouldn't let us in until 4 on the dot. We payed for the night. Check in should have been at noon.

Pet and Kid Friendly
They say in the ad this is a pet friendly property, and they mean it. It's also wonderful for children, with a large park literally across the street and a super cool kids' loft. The hot tub was not in good condition and couldn't be used, also there was a good amount of dog hair on and under the furniture. But the spot is otherwise clean and really is perfect for families with small kids and/or dogs.

Everything you can ask for!
This property was fantastic - it was clean, spacious, warm, with all the amenities we needed. The hot tub and pool table are awesome pluses. It gets a bit toasty in the bedrooms at night, so no need to pack that heating blanket!

Comfortable and pleasant
Our stay at this cabin was comfortable and pleasant. The cabin was cleaned and prepared very well. It is as advertised. The main room is pretty large open area and comfortable to hang out for friends and family. Roku TV was awesome. We did play a couple games of pool. The kitchen has everything we needed and well equipped. The hot tub was hot and ready and towels were provided (so don't bring towels). Because we were there on weekdays, the area was very quiet. The rental places around us were empty, there was no noise at all. Sometimes there are cars passing by and a few people walked by on the street but that's about it. It is a perfect place to recharge and relax if that is what you need. There are a few small animals like blue jays and squirrels but no bear although the area is known to have bears. We saw a coyote one morning. The beds were comfortable and bathrooms were adequate. The location is close to Holloway RV Park and Marina. We walked to the marina and back one day (about 2 miles). Then the next day we boarded the Pirate Ship for fun. The day after we rented a pontoon boat. Kayaks is also available to rent. We drove to the village too and enjoyed one of the restaurants there. It is not too far. There is one caveat for renting during summer. With no A/C it can get hot if the temperature outside is above 80F. Fortunately we only had to experience the hot weather on the first day. Above 70s is bearable with all the windows open and the fans. But at night the area cools off pretty fast. All in all it was nice and we will be back.

Great place
Nice location, close to hiking trailheads, the lake and the village. Cute well kept property. Although the house did get hot during the day, like August hot, there was always shade on the property to hang outside, either in the back yard or the front/side deck. Multiple fans helped pull in the cool air in the late afternoon evening. Played pool or watched movies at night. We all agreed we would definitely come back. Thank you for a great experience.

Fun for the family! Good location with easy access to village. Kids liked hot tub, pool table and tons of VHS old movies. House does get super hot in the summer, but has lots of fans and cools off at night. Overall great place to stay in Big Bear.

We had an awesome time!
Loved our trip and loved the location of the cabin. The only downside was the cleanliness. House seemed to be clean however, all the dishes were dirty. Food was stuck on them. The towels and bedding just seemed to be thrown in the closet and not folded. We tried to wash them and the washing machine was broken. Overall though we had an amazing time. We would definitely go back. The location is amazing and sledding was right across the street.

Not clean
Unfortunately the cabin was not clean, hair on the sheets, hair in the kitchen in the tub, dirty dishes in the cabinets and floors that have not been cleaned in I don’t know how long. Washing machine door messed up, spent the majority of our time washing bedding so we could sleep. I mean the cleaning was so bad there was trash under the bed. If they can rinse the shower I can only imagine how often they clean the hot tub. We left the early since it was not relaxing at all. Turnkey vacations does not clean their properties
