About this property

Entire place

You'll have the entire condo to yourself and will only share it with other guests in your party.

The Otter: Big Sky Hot Tub, CrossCountrySkiIn Out

The Otter: Base Camp for 4 Season Fun.

Located in the heart of Jack Nicholas golf course in Big Sky Meadow Village, you are steps away from adventure in every direction. Golf in the summer /fall or cross country ski in the winter /spring. Wrap that up with a refreshing dip in the HOA swimming pool or indoor sauna. Children can fish in one of two creek fed ponds behind the condo or explore playgrounds within walking distance. Access the Mountain via the shuttle or a beautiful 8 mile drive. Town center is a short two mile walk through the neighborhood.

When you are not playing, where are you staying?

The Otter feels more like a stand alone home than a condo as it doesn't share walls with another unit--no noisy neighbors stomping above. Windows on 4 sides allow you to take in beautiful Yellow Mountain or the view of the original Crail Ranch where Big Sky's first settlers lived.

Wide.Open.S.P.A.C.E.
The large deck and surrounding meadow with a live creek and walking trails to explore is why you came to Montana, right? Planted in the heart of the golf course rather than stacked into a high density development, the nature that surrounds you calls you out to soak it in.

Inside Delights
Two thoughtfully appointed onsuites with kingsized beds, chairs for reclining and large bathrooms provide the kind of spacious sanctuary you can look forward to after a full day of play.
The third bedroom also boasts a comfy king size bed (or convert to two single beds) and also a set of twin bunk beds. The third bathroom with tub/shower is located in the hall nearby.

Downstairs, the cozy living area, wood burning fireplace and smart tv beckon you to gather and relax.

The kitchen provides the essentials and beyond to create meals worthy of the memories you are making with friends or family. The dining area seats 6 and there are 3 additional seats at the bar. Two grocery stores are within walking distance as are multiple restaurants.

Accessability to Big Sky's attractions is a dynamic appeal for The Otter: you are 3 miles from fly fishing the Gallatin River on HW191, the gateway to Yellowstone. With so much development happening in Big Sky, traffic can be a challenge the farther up you go on Big Sky's only main road, Lone Peak Drive.
Eliminate traffic and parking frustrations during your vacation!
You are walking distance to Wednesday Farmer's Market, Thursday's Music on the Mountains, July's PBR Rodeo, shopping, dining and BASE- a community center which offers art classes, exercise classes, a world class climbing wall and ice skating, hocky games in the winter. With this much to offer, everyone can pursue their own destiny without monopolizing transportation.

As your hosts, we are super excited to extend this opportunity to you.
With 23 years of experience learning, loving playing and hosting in Big Sky, we feel The Otter provides the best assortment of amenities for a supurb mountain get away. Location is prime for easy access.
Lodging provides room for 8 comfortably, focusing on separate spaces for retreat, a cozy indoor gathering space for winter nights and roomy deck for bbq's and star gazing in the summer. Authentic.
We've chosen to preserve in our decor that which has defined the Northern Rockies for generations as a tribute to those hardy earlier settlers who were the first to fall in love with Montana's Big Sky.
