Wonderful staff. The clerk gave us an upgrade to an absolutely gorgeous room. I highly recommend this property to anyone wishing to stay near the Birch Run Outlet Center. We just needed a stop for the night. We had not been aware of this hotel despite shopping the outlet center countless times. Never needed a stay. Love the fact that the bar and grill were open til midnight on a Saturday night. Didn’t try the pool, but I bet it was great.

Think twice- great Continental breakfast w Gina
We arrived at the hotel and the exterior was dirty and looked unkept. Upon walking in, the sheets had VISIBLE stains. There was a piece of the ceiling caulk hanging. One of the pillows had hair all over it. We looked for extra blankets in the freestanding closet and there was none. In the bathroom, there were water stains on the back of the door and the ceiling tile was moved out of place. Definitely looked like the ceiling had leaked and was fixed very shoddy. The best part was the Continental breakfast and Ginas friendly face. Easily the cleanest place we encountered.

The room was awful! Hair clumps, and dirt on the floor. The bathroom smelled like urine. You could not shut the door to use the restroom because the smell was so bad. There was black all around the shower including the ceiling corners. The door to enter/exit had food splattered on it. The walls were chipped and had stains.

The staff made up for the horrible state that this hotel is in. The first room given to us had a leak in the ceiling from the floor above. There was a pool water on the floor and the end of the bed was wet. We were moved to another room which was not in any better shape. The bathroom had ceiling stains. The shower had stains and chips out of it and the bathroom door had a whole in it like it was kicked. I had to ask for a hair dryer. We have stayed here in years past and it was always kept up. Not sure why the hotel went downhill but certainly would not stay there again. Felt sorry for the staff because they were very pleasant and helpful.

The staff were very friendly and the lobby and breakfast were great! Didn’t get an opportunity to eat at restaurant, so cannot give feedback on that. The room was ok, the air/furnace worked great and bed was comfy. The plumbing is why I gave a low rating. When flushing the toilet I was always nervous that it wouldn’t flush and the water pressure and cool warm water in shower was awful, I have long hair and it took way too long to have a shower while being cold the whole time.

Check in was great. Didn't have a fridge in our room and one was brought up immediately. Room was updated. Floor was bubbled and walking on it was weird. It was a laminate floor so always seemed dirty. Outside of the hotel was another story. We were off to the side of the main building in a really old building. We were on the second floor and the cement "hallway" leading to the room was crumbling. One of those things were you hope it can hold you. We picked this hotel as there were rooms that had 3 beds and could accommodate our party of 5. Will not stay at this particular place again because of the age of the building (and price) and it didn't feel real safe for us.

Cute place. I like that there was only 2 stories, it was pet friendly and close to our venue for the weekend. They had a nice breakfast and bar area. The pool was a little on the smaller side, and the room was cold but the water was warm. The hot tub wasnt filled which was a bummer. And the water in our shower did not get above luke warm. But the check in staff was very nice. Would stay here again and recommend to others.

I thought the price of the room was ridiculously high based on the room we stayed in. The bathroom was so small you could barely move. The bathtub looked stained and dirty. The floors were gross.

Hotel was more like a motel. Towels were dirty, price was outrageous parking lot was horrible and hard to navigate. Not enough signage and hard to find in the dark. Expedia overcharged for room type and hotel refused to upgrade. Hot tub was broken and bathrooms were small. Needs major renovations and upgrades as well as daily maintenance. Couldnt even get the fitted sheet to stay on the bed
