sketchy neighborhood
This property is in a very sketch neighborhood. Our group was 5 grown men and we just were there to sleep and leave so it was manageable. I would never consider taking my family there. There were many outlets that did not work. The walls had hand prints and the house in general is dirty. Pics are not a true depiction. Overall I would stay away!!!

Save Your Money!!!!!
It was Hot!!! We burnt up most of the week. There are ants and spiders everywhere. Not clean. There is a nail sticking up that two of us stepped on on the kitchen. There were actually more than one nail. The hall closet door was of the track. There were locks on all the closets so we had no where to hang our clothes. No drawers either. You couldn’t run the ceiling fan in the front bedroom with out the can light on over the bunk beds. Over half the outlets in the home did not work!!!! Someone came out to “repair” the issues but nothing got fixed. They said they would have to bust a hole in the bedroom wall to get the outlets in the bathroom working. They said it was “to hot” in the attic and wanted to return at 6am the next day. No thanks, we are on vacation we don’t want to be woke up at 6 am. They checked the basement and said there was in fact a air leak and it was colder in the basement than it was in the house. They also videoed water pouring into the basement while the shower in the master bedroom was on. Let me add that these men were not professionals. We heard that one of them saw a real mermaid in the ocean. Lay off the drugs Mr. We booked through July 20th to leave on 21st. We left and went home the 18th because it was so unpleasant. I sent a message with all these things listed and told management that we should be compensated in some way and I was basically ignored.

Located in the HOOD! BUGS! Just say NO!!! Worse than pictures.
The house is located in a run down area, which is described in the listing as “a transitioning neighborhood” I’d call it the ghetto or the hood. Not safe. There was an unpleasant smell in the kitchen upon arrival, almost like cat food. By the second day, there were hundreds of ants all over the kitchen. Two roaches were found in the bathroom. Bedcovers had stains. The outside trash can was full upon arrival and by the next morning, the trash was spilling over onto the sidewalk. A dog, bad neighbors, or a homeless person rummaging through??? Not sure. The host was notified with pictures and videos. They offered a 15% refund. That’s laughable. It took 3 more requests and a call to vrbo customer service to finally get the $94 refund. Videos and pictures were also sent to vrbo You’ll be required to sign a 5 page rental agreement and provide a picture of yourself holding your driver’s license showing your date of birth and the street number to your address. If the credit card used to book is different than the person booking, that same picture info will be required of that person too. All this, according to them, in an effort to prevent credit card fraud. That’s the job of vrbo in my opinion. The address of the home will not be provided until the morning of your check in. None of this Information or requirements are disclosed in the listing information. Your door code will not work until exactly 4pm so don’t try arriving even a few minutes early. Just say NO to this one.
