Not for the faint hearted its clean which is good as for rooms not my cup of tea i didn't like the bedsit look having sink cooker in room etc just looked like a hostel type room but the 2 staff j did see on separate occasions were friendly and polite so a thanks to them

Woefully understaffed
When we arrived we couldn't get into the hotel , there was nobody on reception and the phone was ringing out . After 10 minutes another guest who was staying happened to return and let us in. We then waited another 5 minutes at least before a member of staff turned up.The Bar was off limits and had been closed since August and the refreshments tea/ coffee in the room had not been refilled. Fortunately i had brought decaffeinated tea with me so could make a drink.

Location very convenient
The location is very convenient. The hotel isn’t luxurious, but it offers good quality for the price, with clean rooms and basic amenities that cover all the essentials. Generally, it’s a quiet place, though there’s occasional noise in the hallways when other guests arrive or depart, which might disturb light sleepers. Overall, it’s a practical, budget-friendly option with a great location.

Arrived early just to check in as visiting Birmingham because daughter had a baby and was in hospital reception greeted me gave me the key i explained that i wont be back till late evening as we were at the hospital with daughter arrived back around 7 went to room first impression was the overbearing smell of urine the bedding was thrown on top of the bed and a lovely pile of garbage in the corner told reception im not staying in there he went to check the room and gave us another which was ok but still dirty tbh

I had no problem with the hotel. Very accommodating, and the room had everything I need. Only issues are not to do with the hotel. Building work opposite and abulance sirens every night. There was a slight inconvenience due to the restaurant and bar being renovated and not open, but it wasn't peek time so I completely understood. Finding nice food in Dudley itself is a challenge, but luckily, I was visiting friends. Nice hotel. Lots of history. Lovely Building and friendly staff.

Its getting better - bar is going through a refurb but town is jsut a short walk away - solo male traveller just needed to sleep - shower could be better, just take 5 mins to warm up but then good

Never again!
Horrendous hotel! Dated and dirty, the room smelt of damp! The bar and restaurant were both shut. The shower was either freezing cold or scalding hot!

Particularly liked the Peaky Blinders themed bar. Unique to the Black Country. Love that it is walking distance to the Zoo and the Black Country Museum.
