Not sure the AC was working, but in the middle of the night it smelled like gas in our room and the hallway. I opened the window and it eventually went away. Hotel is in rough shape. Dirty carpets, looked like things were "fixed" but not very well. Beds werent very comfortable.

The hotel is older and could use a bit of a spruce up. I was a little disappointed with the charging capabilities/plug ins as well as the television amenities. The rest of the stay was good, the bed is comfortable. The staff is nice and very helpful.. the hotel is in walking distance of a lot of stuff. So all in all it cool for the price.

Sorry to say not the front desk clerk was not pleasant when I arrived. He seemed to be upset at his computer system. When I finally did get a room, it had an extremely strong smell of a chemical like lacquer or something. I told him about it and he asked if I was painting. I told him, no, I just was checked in by you 5 minutes ago! He told me that he could only move my room to a one next door or across the hall because we had a pet. He offered us a box fan instead. We tried the fan but our eyes were burning so after a few hours I went back to the desk and told him that we couldn’t stand it anymore so he finally moved us to a room further away and that was fine. I just wish the first part of our stay was better. The fact that I had to push for help and it wasn’t offered to me was the disappointing part.
