Three nights stay. Nice first impression, nice public area/bar that doubles as reception. Large room with king bed. Noted no cupboard, so nowhere to hang clothes. So if staying for a few days and like to unpack you are out of luck. The shower is very good, and the bed very comfortable. Aircon works. It is 20-mins walk to town. Cleaning was a bit inconsistent, on the 2nd day my bath mat and hand towels were taken but not replaced. Other disposables not refreshed. Cold wet bathroom floor for 24-hours. The included continental breakfast is ok, if a bit bread heavy. Some cereal and fresh juice would be a simple addition to make it very good. The attached restaurant is up-market, very nice but pricy. There is a sports club across the road if you want a cheaper eats. In all a comfortable stay and would stay again.

What a great surprise! We’ve had such a lovely time at Kyah! Wow. This old motel has been done up in a super cool, funky, stylish way, making rooms super homely and comfortable. Staff were superb, free sauna and spa were just amazing! And the best surprise was free breakfast which was definitely not basic! So delicious and just perfect to start the day. The restaurant on site is next level, great menu and atmosphere. Would recommend this hotel for a couple or families, great position to go and explore the blue mountains.

Motel renovation was quirky and nicely done. Very family friendly and easy to stay / dine out all on one site. Easy breakfast bar and launching pad for many hikes was a highlight! The hot tub position by the car park was not as zen as the pictures.

Ultimately it’s an old motel that’s been done up. It’s nice but not amazing. The bathrooms need desperate attention, the aircon is soo noisy and there is no where to sit or hang more than a few clothes. Check in and out very easy but try to find someone to talk to and it’s impossible. Restaurant food and service was excellent.
