On the main floor you’ll find the first bedroom with a queen bed and walk-in closet overlooking the large backyard and stone fire pit. The bathroom also serves the main floor and has a tub/shower combo.


The cabin is large enough to get together in the fully equipped kitchen when cooking dinner and having drinks or in the living area enjoying the magnificent stone wood burning fireplace. If you decide to have some private time connecting with nature and relaxing, there is plenty room in the upstairs loft where you can relax, read a nice book, take a nap in the large sofas or enjoy a movie on TV equipped with Blue Ray DVD.



The master suite is located on the upper floor and has a queen bed, a flat screen TV and an electric fireplace making it the perfect nest to enjoy an intimate view of the yard and forest. There’s also a jetted tub and a walk-in shower in the master bathroom.


WILDERNESS RETREAT will become your favorite retreat year after year with such wonderful amenities as the hot tub for those romantic afternoons, a foosball table and an air hokey table in the basement game room, and plenty of space in the backyard to walk, exercise and play.



If you prefer to grill, there’s a gas grill on the open back porch which is right next to a comfortable screened-in porch. There you will find a lovely sitting area where you can have that warm morning cup of coffee while watching the birds or an evening full of stars with a glass of wine, strawberries, cheese and dark chocolate.


There is Wi-Fi, a full-size washer and dryer, and central HVAC, so you can forget about the daily duties and immerse in the fantasy of the forest.



If you enjoy the wilderness, make lasting memories and share family stories over an open fire pit with s’mores and roasted finger food. It will certainly make for unforgettable experience for the whole family.



Sitting in the best location in the Blairsville, just minutes from Vogel State Park and the lake, the Appalachian Trails for hiking, Brasstown Mountain, and Helton Waterfalls. For a slightly longer drive of about 35 minutes you can visit Helen, GA to explore the wonders of a Bavarian town and enjoy the best tubing. Blue Ridge is 5 miles from the cabin for ziplines, Lake Blue Ridge’s beach area at Morganton Point, shopping, restaurants and a fabulous train ride.


Don’t forget the handful of vineyards to visit, the Union County Golf Course (18 holes), horseback riding and the many other outdoor amenities that are at hand. Paved roads and flat land make this cabin one of the easiest to access.


FRIENDLY NOTE: THE SIGNED RENTAL AGREEMENT AND THE COPY OF YOUR DRIVER’S LICENSE ARE REQUIRED BEFORE WE PROVIDE DIRECTIONS AND ACCESS CODES TO THE CABIN.

We do not accept or honor any external Travel Protection and Insurance Services.
