All terrific save one thing: the room door stick and the only way to close them is loudly. One of our pet peeves during hotel stays. If anyone gets up at 4 am, everybody gets up at 4 am.

The hotel is amazing overall but our stay itself was very uncomfortable, reasons for this are. 1. The TV in our room didn’t not work properly the brightness of picture kept fading in and out so we were unable to enjoy time watching a movie or TV show of any sort. 2. The central air unit would not work it blew out warm air so we literally did not sleep comfortably at all. Besides these two upsetting things we liked the hotel but are concerned about trying to stay there again.

I recently stayed at the HYATT Place Bloomington. VERY SAFE area- near the college, really clean and curated downtown area near the college. Can easily park your car and walk to dinner, stores, etc. ONLY HOTEL CON= parking structure is hard to get in/out of due to immediate hill right as you turn in.

There was no parking and we had to park 2 blocks away. We are moving our son into college. We have a pickup truck and were unable to secure our things. We called the hotel to confirm parking and they said yes. We arrive and they didn’t have any. We had to go out at 11pm to find tarps to and bind our items. This was unacceptable. They said they couldn’t give us a credit bc we booked through Hotels.com. Please issue us a discount

Indiana University - Great Place To Stay

We were in Bloomington for a visit of Indiana University. We arrived early to explore the city and the location of Hyatt Place Bloomington was perfect.

Don’t waste your money

Horrible parking. The garage is off of a very narrow alley and getting in and out of the garage was extremely difficult/tight. We have a Chevy Silverado. Parking spots were very small and then they tack on $16/night. Bed/pillows very uncomfortable for our taste. Extremely firm mattress and the pillows felt like I was laying on a brick. Dirty walls/ceiling. Shower was a joke. NO water pressure!
