The location is truly what makes this space unique. The Boise Foothills are the perfect getaway from the city and just a short walk through the VA campus will put you at the Military Reserve trailhead. Just south of the trailhead you will find the Boise Bike Park that offers terrain for riders of all levels. The trail system is expansive, so if you want to venture out even further, we would be happy to point you in the right direction.
After your ride in our lovely foothills, you can park your bike at the house and walk south down 6th street, through the Idaho Capitol campus, through Cecil Andrus Park, in front of Boise's historic post office and you will come to 8th Street, Boise's restaurant row (about a 10-minute walk). This is the City's hub for fine dining and your access point to Boise's iconic Freak Alley, the largest outdoor mural and graffiti gallery in the Northwest. A must see for any first-time visitor.
