Camel's Back Park is an 11-acre urban park in Boise, Idaho, managed by the Boise Parks and Recreation Department. The park includes picnic tables, play areas, an outdoor gym, practice fields, and facilities for tennis and volleyball and is home to the Hyde Park Street Fair filled with local vendors, live music and food trucks.

A “sub” urban retail area of the age of Hyde Park is unusual for any community. It rivals such famous areas like the Niles District in Oakland for its character and quality. Here you will find Java, Goodie's Candy Shop, 13th Street Pub, and North End Pizza to just name a few eateries along with treasured boutiques.

This unit is also only 5 minutes from Bogus Basin road. Drive up 30 minutes to Bogus Basin to ski in the winter or bike and hike in the summer.

Great location
This is our second time staying in one of the North End Bungalows. If you like the North End district, the location of these places is great. It's a short walk to Camelback park or the retail area, and is pretty quiet. The bungalows themselves are clean and comfortable. I'd prefer a little more furniture and kitchen supplies in a unit, but if you're not spending much time there it won't matter. It's got the basics covered.

Overall we enjoyed our stay in this nicely redone historical home. The hosts were responsive. The first night we noticed some missing basics, texted the host, and those items were delivered the next day. The first few days were pleasant and quiet. However, this unit is one of three in the building (2 more units in the building next door). When other tenants were in the building, it was noisy. Also, while it is advertised that there is parking, there are only 2 driveway parking spaces for 5 rental units. We were able to park next to our rental the first 2 days, but after that it was street parking only and this is a very densely populated neighborhood. So, be advised that may or may not have a designated parking spot, though the listing makes it sound like you will.

This is a well-maintained and lovely property in a beautiful neighborhood of Boise. It was clean and well-stocked. Parking was easy. Check-in and check-out were easy. Owners were attentive and helpful, although I had no issues -- they just checked in via text, which I appreciated. I hope to stay here again and recommend this property most highly.

Close walk to Hyde Park “downtown”
The property was exactly as listed. Spacious sitting area and bedroom, modern kitchen and bathroom. Instructions for arrival and departure were clear and easy to follow. Keyless entry made for a late arrival easy. Lots of street parking, no problem finding spots any time of day right in front. Short walk to Hyde Park “downtown” for coffee, food, ice cream etc. Great location. It was unexpectedly cold and snowy weather when we booked so we really had to crank the heat but it didn’t take long to warm it up. I would stay here again when visiting the Boise area and will keep it in my list of favorites.
