Delightful vacation home in Bonnieux, Luberon, in one of the most beautiful cobblestone streets of the picturesque high village, one of the most beautiful villages in France. This beautiful stone village house dates back to the 12th century. It overlooks the Luberon Valley, the landmark of Provence, a paradise for hikers. The area caters to lovers of the south and its unique villages in the hills: Gordes, Lacoste, Ménerbes, Venasque and Roussillon, all classified villages. In the nearby town of Apt, 14 km, large market on Saturday, arched passages, arcades, pretty houses, stores, restaurants and cafes. In 28 km, Isle sur la Sorgue, the inevitable oasis of freshness of the region. Visit the city of the popes, Avignon, with its famous bridge and festival (in July). Nearby, the "Provençal Colorado" of Rustrel, with its wild and its ochre surroundings, and the Fontaine de Vaucluse, which attracts many visitors every year. There are also markets throughout the year. From May to September, a 4th person is possible on prior request in an adjoining room (unheated) with a sofa bed. The narrow alley does not allow parking in front of the house, but free parking is 250 meters away. One apartment is on the 1st floor, but without visual contact and with completely independent entrance.

nice enough with good location
Nice location high up near the top of the hill in Bonnieux where it's quiet but still within easy walking distance of all places of interest in the village. I can confirm what other reviewers reported about the thin ceiling -- you can hear most of the activity happening in the flat above this one. The layout of this flat has charm with the "cave" courtyard, though we didn't spend time out there...it looked like it has been little used and really could use a good sweeping. Overall the place was a little outdated but was fine for our short stay.

Schön, aber hellhörig und Bauarbeiten
Sehr schöne Wohnung, sehr gut gelegen, aber extrem hellhörig, leider auch Bau- und Renovierungsarbeiten in der Wohnung darüber, ab 6.15 Uhr morgens und am Sonntag. Das Objekt ist kein Ferienhaus, sondern eine Wohnung in einem 3stöckigen sehr alten Haus, deshalb sehr dünne Zimmerdecken.

Einfaches Leben in reizvoller Umgebung
Schöne aber einfache Unterkunft mitten unter französischen Einwohnern in landschaftlich reizvoller Umgebung. Gute Möglichkeit einzukaufen (Märkte, Direktvermarkter) und Essen zu gehen. Das Wetter konnte nicht besser sein. Viele interessante Kulturstätten die es sich lohnte anzusehen. Zum wandern (was wir vorhatten), war es zu heiss.
