The kitchen is efficiently designed and has a beautiful tile counter and backsplash along with a double refrigerator and a glass cooktop electric range.
The hardest part of falling asleep in this home will be choosing which lovely bedroom to call yours. The master suite is on the main level and has a King bed, a TV cabinet in the wall, a walkin closet, and a private bathroom with a combination jetted bathtub and shower. Downstairs are two more bedrooms. The room to the right of the stairs has a Queen sized bed and an HDTV as well as a twin daybed & trundle combination in the room, and the room to the left of the stairs has a King sized bed. There is a full bathroom between the two rooms with a combination tub & shower.
Step outside to experience the many wonderful options for outdoor living. The main level deck wraps around 3 sides of the home and is gated to allow safety for young children and pets. There is a table & chairs overlooking the yard from this deck, another set of outdoor chairs, as well as the relaxing hot tub with steps to get into it easily. The lower level deck has an outdoor pool table and an outdoor ping pong table, some of the only private outdoor games in the High Country area.
The grounds of this home have been created especially for the purpose of relaxing and enjoying the cool mountain air. Steps from the lower level deck lead you down into the patio area with its in-ground stone firepit, a pond with manmade creek and waterfall feeding into it, and a table & chairs with umbrella. The grassy yard beyond is nearly flat and is perfect for those who wish to run and play, and the yard is fully fenced on all sides to provide a safe place for all.
You may not wish to ever leave this haven, but if you do, you'll find yourself just 10 minutes from Boone and Appalachian State University, and just 20 minutes away from Blowing Rock, Tweetsie Railroad, Appalachian Ski Mountain, Hawksnest Tubing, and Banner Elk. Grandfather Mountain, Sugar Mountain, and Ski Beech are just a short drive away as well. -Firewood may be purchased at the time of booking or with a week's notice. You receive two wrapped, kiln-dried bundles and a fire starter for $25 plus tax per night.
-Please note that fishing in the rivers is reserved exclusively for the homeowners.
- All BRMR homes offer well stocked kitchens with all utensils needed to cook meals. There is also a "starter set" of paper products at the house: a roll of toilet paper per bath, several garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths. There are enough of these items for one night, or maybe two. We do not provide hair dryers. Towels and linens will be provided.
- Check in is after 4pm and Checkout is by 10am
- Must be at least 25 years old to reserve. This person is required to be the person signing the agreement and must be one of the persons staying in the property for the reserved dates.
- No smoking inside the home. No trace of smoking left outside the home.
- Do not leave food or trash outside as it could attract animals. All trash must be bagged and placed in the trash receptacle indicated in the Welcome Book inside the house or your digital guidebook.
- No parties or gatherings above the posted occupancy allowed at any time. Keep outside noise respectable.
- 4WD/AWD and/or chains recommended during winter (Nov-March) for all homes. Travelers visiting during the winter months where inclement weather may be possible should come prepared with an AWD or 4WD vehicle, and chains may also be required if it snows. No refunds, allowances, or date changes will be given to travelers who are not prepared with the proper vehicle, as outlined in the Rental Agreement.

-This home allows up to 2 mature, well-trained dogs with an additional pet rent of $25.00 per pet per night plus tax. Pets other than dogs are not permitted.
-CANCELLATION POLICY: STRICT: Cancellations 60+ days prior to arrival receive a full refund minus the $50 cancellation fee. Cancellations within 60 days of arrival will not be refunded unless the dates are rebooked to another traveler.
