Clean Room, no elevators

A solid clean room with 1/2 mile of walking to Boothbay harbor. 2 stories high, no elevators. Less expensive than those around it. It fit our needs well

It wasn’t the best and it wasn’t the worst it was average. If it wasn’t for the discount I had I would have been very disappointed in the room and its cleanliness. When we got there the fridge was unplugged and the freezer was full of water, why would you unplug the fridge when you know guests are coming? I spilt water on the floor and went to clean it up and the white towel came up black from where I wiped the water up, obviously they don’t mop the floors often. Definitely nothing special

The ceiling tiles are all stained in the bathroom from a previous leak. It looked really bad and those tiles should be replaced. The room itself was cute though. The staff was very friendly and we had no other issues.

Anniversary getaway

I reserved a deluxe king and when I arrived they said I had a deluxe double, they didn’t have any kings left. Showed him on my phone what it said but he said it didn’t matter. The pool was very nice, the jets not working in the jacuzzi. Breakfast was good, variety was good , the room had been updated since last visit but had no hairdryer, no place to hang towels, no trash can, a few things that need attention still. It was clean in the room. . For a one night stay it was ok except for having to sleep in a double bed when asked for king.

We really liked this hotel and the only thing we would suggest would more lighting in the room. They only had 1 lamp in our room. With not having a ceiling light it was pretty dark only having 1 light. I like to read and it was kind of hard to read because the room was so dark. It would have been nice to have 2 table or lamps or also a ceiling light.

Overall, hotel service purpose while I was here for a golf tournament having been Coming to Boothbay And flagship for the past seven years, I’ve seen the prices go up increasingly Every year. Having stayed there over the past seven years I’ve stayed On the top level and this year, I was given a room on the bottom level the top level outdated, and the bottom level seems renovated a few years back so for what your customers are paying, I feel like every room should get redone so that the person who staying on the top and paying the same as the person on the bottom level gets the same room because if I was staying in the top level and paying the people on the bond level I would not want to come back. Also there’s a lot of trim over the parking lot that could easily be cleaned up to help preserve the nice area seem to be a little more Process versus prior years and lastly, the breakfast that’s included is a joke having breakfast there in the past there have been sandwiches waffles sausage bacon it was just eggs, yogurt, few bread options, but that was really it. Hopefully someone reads this because more than likely. I’ll be back because of convenience but the way they’re going they’re gonna lose more people.

One star for being remodeled. One star for being as clean as expected. Minus one star for not having a hairdryer as advertised, and minus another star for the front desk making up reasons why they couldn't provide one for me and trying to placate me by saying they've ordered all new ones. Because if you've ordered new ones that means you know yours are broken, so should either have a few spare on hand for guests in need--or don't advertise you have them. Or don't try to say every room is fully booked so there's no way you could get one from another room.

Clean, good size room. Reasonable prize, because it’s not located at the marina and you need your car to get there. Room had fridge, microwave and jKeurig, and if you want to eat in the room there is a Hannaford next door.
