The late night front desk lady was genuinely nice. I stayed up just talking to her. The room and my stay was fantastic. The hotel has that historic stately feel. Happens to be my favorite type. The free coffee taste gourmet. The only thing is I could not get the TV to work. Two remotes, one for TV one for the media box. I payed for an hour trying everything,

Very clean and location is wonderful and central. My room was quiet on the 3rd floor. Hue is a delicious and very lively restaurant downstairs. The staff at the hotel was very friendly and helpful.

When we got back to the room - it was HOT. We adjusted the temperature to be on cool and set it to 66 degrees. The temperature only continued to rise. Our room got to 91 degrees. We resorted to sleeping with the door open (a safety risk), opening the window the tiny crack that it opened, and even opened the freezer and refrigerator in an effort to cool down the room. When we called the front desk, no one answered. We couldn't sleep. It was the most uncomfortable stay I've ever experienced.

More low budget than I expected from the photos. The bathtub needed to be refinished and the bathroom was tiny. The duvet was not encased so a flat sheet, which easily came untucked, was all that kept you from common duvet usage. Not so hygienic. The location was outstanding, easy access to MBTA and Logan Express bus, and it was very quiet for being so close to Copley.

Pros: Convenient location, quiet room, clean floors, adequately stocked with soap, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, cost compared to area hotels. Fridge in room. Points taken for: Hot room. Needed to open window in December. Some might prefer this but I usually sleep in cold. Wall next to sink needed to be cleaned. The vanity had chips in the fiberboard from water exposure. Detracted from the overall appearance. Elevator walls could use a cleaning. Very hard mattress. My husband was fine with it. Many hotels have very hard mattresses. I just don’t sleep well on a hard mattress. We were only in Boston for two nights so I didn’t want to use up our precious weekend time and energy with bringing up these issues while there.

The staff were really friendly and accommodating. The valet was professional and right there when we needed them. The two gentlemen that checked us in at 3 PM were extremely hospitable and one of them even asked me to consider that I am in a home away from home. It was a birthday overnight with dinner and a show and we were in from out of town and already starting to have a good time so it was very nice to know that we could feel comfortable and relaxed. The overnight young woman at the front desk was also extremely hospitable and courteous as we returned from a fun night. She was very professional and patient with us when we returned and handled us with class. The rooms we stayed in were perfect for an overnight trip to Boston and Copley Square is right in the heart of Back Bay so it was perfect. Our only feedback was none of us could actually turn the heat down in the rooms. We all adjusted our thermostats to below 70 but the temperature stayed at around 72° all night. Not sure if they were overridden at the front desk, but none of the thermostats were adjusting to the temperatures that we set. That’s a little too stuffy for all of us. The outside temperature wasn’t that bad either, I believe it was in the 40s, it wasn’t freezing so we all thought that was just too warm and stuffy for sleeping. Fortunately, I was the only one who didn’t get much sleep. All of my friends were tired enough to get some sleep in their rooms before check out. Will book again w/temp control.

Fantastic! In an amazing part of town which is accessible to transit, restaurants, historical landmarks, and shopping. Very clean with free water, tea, coffee. Rooms were spacious. Staff was great! Would stay here again!
