Wonderful old hotel with some limitations
Perfect location, lovely personnel. Marred by poor charging availability; connections were loose, too few USB-C ports. Lighting in room is too dim; fine for sleeping or TV, but dim for anything else. Poor TV selection; I can't believe a hotel of this caliber doesn't automatically offer Netflix, HBO etc without having to chromecast from one's own subscription. No refrigerator/mini-bar in room - what???

Loved the people at the hotel! They made us feel very welcome and special. They remembered my feather allergy and the room was feather free. The only disappointment was the restaurants clam chowder. It was not good and no clams in it at all. The table next to us needed to be bused so we had to look at scraps right beside us while we ate. It took away from the beauty of the restaurant and our lunch. The night manager, a young man from France was awesome, the concierge was so friendly, the porter that took our bags was the sweetest. All around a great place to stay. Oh and Copley was a great addition to this grand hotels atmosphere.

Hotel a Hard pass on future trips to Boston
Arrived at substandard room with a welcome card for a complete stranger. Bath is smallest I’ve seen in my decades of travel with to 18” doors that don’t lock or seal. Very outdated and bath ceiling was bubbling/peeling. Paying double for the lobby which can be seen for free! “City view” room is wall of Westin service. Copley park is under construction. Dogs barking all night. Loud Construction outside on building sounded like maybe also I adjacent room! Urban experience fee” is a scam! Internet if you force it as fee is not an ammenity nor do we use unsecured hotel WiFi! $25 credit for restaurant is per visit despite how many days of fees you pay! They did not want to seat us without reservation but after venting said they would look for an inconsistent spot. We just had experienced an exquisite meal down the street at Abe and Louise and we stopped In Hotel restaurant for coffee and dessert. They said they should not have seated us and refused to serve coffee. Did bring dessert but immediately walked away in huff. They did the same to the family of four sitting next to us who had planned a full meal and ended up leaving (good for them!) Ruined what had been a magical day. I’m usually overly sympathetic to service industry but this experience left me fuming! We stopped at front desk and explained what happened so they were aware, they said they would tell manager but we heard nada. Location is great but several other better options nearby. Loved Boston but hard pass on Copley

Everything was clean and the staff was very welcoming. My friends and I arrived before check in time and we were able to check in early. Later when we asked a door man Oscar to take a picture of us and he was not only friendly and willing to but also went above and beyond to show us the best spots to take one. Thank you so much a wonderful stay. I can’t wait to come back!

The property was impressive, with a well-maintained and clean appearance. While the rooms were somewhat small and the carpet appeared a bit worn, I appreciated the originality of the decor. However, I would have preferred if the restrooms in the rooms had been updated. The restaurant was exceptional, and I thoroughly enjoyed the food. Additionally, while parking posed some challenges, it was manageable thanks to the valet service.
