The hotel is great, location is great as well. The property manager was very understanding for my schedule changes and was accommodating. However for the amount of money that you pay for I think they can improve and invest to include the amenities in the room such as a coffee maker or cups and glass for use. Also the housekeeping service is inconsistent I asked for it and they didn’t meet my expectation but when I didn’t ask for it they went ahead and interrupted my slumber to enter the room. The simple things but otherwise great hotel

Guest keys are required in the elevators, which was a good safety feature. The hotel is in walking distance of many things, as well as being very close to the subway station.

Going to a ballgame at Fenway? No problem, hotel commonwealth is right around the corner. Want to do some shopping on iconic Newbury St? No problem, it’s just a short walk from the hotel. How about accessibility to the T? No issues there, the Kemore station is directly under the hotel (green line). And don’t worry, you won’t even know it’s there! Plenty of good food options within a 1000 feet of the front door to include, burgers, pizza, and Indian food. Very great hotel and the staff was super friendly and helpful.

We loved it here. The staff was friendly and helpful and there was a happy “can-do” vibe to the place. The rooms were spacious and appealing, and the refillable water bottles were cool. Of course if you’re a Sox fan this is the place to be. But we stayed a week and didn’t see a game until the last night, so it’s a great place for one and all.

Fenway concert stay
We were in town for a concert and we prefer to stay at the Commonwealth. Lovely room and vibe. This time no complimentary upgrade… probably due to the number of people there. Only thing is when the hotel room door closes it is very loud. I didn’t recall that from previous stays. I just used my phone white noise and it was fine.
