I appreciated them accommodating us early. The staff was wonderful. We were a little put off by the smells though and the shower water temperature would drastically change back and forth for no reason.

My experience was good. The hotel did its job of a clean basic room with breakfast included. The staff was amazing, we receive a map of the area and places to visit and transportation to take when we arrive. Staff was always available. The breakfast was also really good. However, the hotel needs a deep cleaning and upgrade.

I rarely write reviews, but I have to tell future travelers that this hotel has a strange smell — it’s an old building, but that’s not what’s up. The whole place has a strong scent that made me feel like I was in this cheap motel (and my room was dark so that didn’t help). I couldn’t figure it out for a while, but I think they have an air freshener that smells like Glade Spice (or something like that). It is super strong, so I bought Febreze. If you’re sensitive to smells, I would recommend staying somewhere else. If you’re not, this place is clean, and I’m sure you’ll enjoy it. :)

Fair price for a decent place. We would leave at 9am via Uber and get back at 9-10 so we just needed a clean bed to sleep in and a clean shower. This had that. Fair for the price

The gentlemen who ran the check in desk were very nice and helpful. As far as the room goes the soap tray in the shower was missing a screw so things fell off it, they never came in the second day to tidy our room. I had to go hunt for coffee and cups to make our morning coffee. They could have given us new towels for the second day. The room next to us was heard through the walls as well as noise from the room above us. Room was small for breakfast and food was rather cold that we had to heat it up in the microwave which was dirty. The hotel was hard to find because the sign was so low you missed it.

The flooring in room 102 is cheap, not put together properly (gaps between boards), and buckling…. The front desk was not very welcoming, though the desk worker was very nice and helpful. The room was INCREDIBLY overpriced for what we got and I don’t appreciate the property taking advantage of a holiday weekend to overcharge on a mediocre room. $330 for a room that should’ve been $125 at best.

We reserved the room with a package (flight, stay, rental car). The door to our room was open when we arrived. We went inside and found that the beds had been used; towels had been used and thrown on the bathroom vanity. The desk clerk said there were no more rooms available and housekeeping was not available to clean the room. She did encourage me to contact Expedia for a refund. However…, it was near midnight and on a Friday in metro Boston. It took several hours and an extra $400 to get a hotel room, just for one night…frustrating, to say the least. Needless to say, I cannot offer anything positive about HoJo’s Quincy!
