Even though I got a standard room it was amazing. Enjoyed the room and most of all the Heated bathroom. The outdoor space to hang was very cute and the office area with games ect was great. Due to it being freezing cold we did not get to enjoy outside but we will return again when weather warmer. 20 minutes from downtown, plus they currently constructing additional rooms which excited to see if completed when we return. Overall our stay was great and checking in and out was very easy
Loved the room and location although it was a 20 minute walk from the historic site. Good restaurants around. Only comment I have is I’d find a way to light up the hotel sign since I kept missing it.
What a great job they did with this hotel! My best friend and I took a trip for her 40th and stayed in the “pirate” room/suite. The sitting area was PERFECT, super cozy and great for us to just chit chat, eat and relax. The gas fire pits outside that are on until 11 are an added bonus especially this time of year! The beds were amazing! The bathroom was spotless and nicely decorated!
I can’t say I was happy with my experience. The location is more of a motel than a hotel which I don’t think was clear and its description. It’s currently under renovation with a second area of being built. There is very little in the way of amenities as The staff leaves at 9 o’clock and access to vending machines ice etc. ends at 11 PM I paid a surge price because of the close proximity to Halloween. I knew the price going in so I can’t really complain about that however I would never ever pay that price for this location again. I paid $400 a night for a place that was probably worth about $150 a night. but my real dissatisfaction came on the second evening. I arrived home after having worked all day and found that housekeeping had left the door to my room open. I don’t mean it was unlocked which would’ve been bad enough but I mean that it was open. I know they were in there because while they did not actually clean my room they restocked the coffee bar. All of my belongings were left open for anyone to walk in had they chosen to and since there was nobody on staff at the hotel at that time I had to go in not knowing whether or not the room was safe. Obviously I was very very upset about this but I did finally managed to get to sleep around 1:30 AM only to be awakened at 7:30 AM when construction on phase 2 started.Frustrated I just packed my bags and left- whoever runs this place needs to worry more about its guests and less about its Instagram
The suite was beautiful and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. The outdoor lounging area is very inviting. We will definitely stay here next time we are in the area.
We were pleasantly surprised with how lovely and clean the room was. The bed was extremely comfortable, I genuinely had a good night sleep which is rare in hotels. It had everything we needed and the only negative was that we didn't have more time to enjoy it. Thank you!
The outside is deceiving and some of it is under construction but the inside of the rooms were completely renovated and themed. I stayed in the black and white room and it had a separate seating area with a smart tv and a couch and dining area. The debroom has double doors and a separate entrance to the remodeled bathroom. Smart tv in bedroom as well. Roomy and would stay again for sure. Hidden gem.
Great hotel and staff. Super close to downtown Salem. We walked to the hotel from Essex St. during the haunting happenings, took less than 16 minutes. Very comfortable bed and living room.
Very clean and modern rooms with plenty of space. Staff were very helpful. Only 15 minute walk to downtown Salem. Was perfect for what we needed - would definitely recommend....
