The hotel was a nice hotel. Bring cash to tip everyone though, it’s expected. It is walking distance to most attractions and eateries. The staff were absolutely wonderful. Everyone in their roles seemed to enjoy their jobs and are very pleasant. I would recommend the Godfrey Hotel if you plan to stay in Boston. The street at night are busy and loud, something you definitely want to consider. KW

No doubt that this hotel has an amazing location and a cool, modern downtown vibe and we did enjoy it for 3 night. I do have a few complaints however, given the extremely high rate we paid: 1) the “urban fee” of $46/night is not justified! The snacks are basic vending machine quality and just water in the room. If they are going to charge that much there should be better snacks and coffee/pastries in the lobby 2) the beds are far too soft and the rooms are small for 3 (no room to lounge, only 2 beds and a desk chair)…

Amazing hotel;especially for the price. Upon pulling up to The Godfrey we were met by the parking valet and doorman who helped us with our luggage. They were friendly and helpful with the Porter explaining if we needed any help with advice, etc he was available. The Valet advised us of the parking procedure and the cost (we knew it was an expensive $60/day but were not going traipse around the city looking for parking). We went into the well-appointed modern lobby and immediately greeted by the desk clerk. He quickly found our room and acknowledged we were Expedia Priority members while explaining our perks. The hotel was very impressive with all the marble work and you could see the new conversions without losing the old hotel's charm. The Porter accompanied us to our room and made sure we settled in. The room was a good size for a large city hotel room. he, as did the front desk clerk, explained the snacks in the room as well as the water, was complementary. The room and bathroom were spotless. I especially liked the soft close door to the bathroom. There were plenty of linens, a make-up/shaving mirror as well as a hair dryer. I liked the little cozy covering the extra TP roll. The King bed was very comfortable and we both had a restful sleep. The room was well thought out and was easy to move about. There was a rain shower in the bathroom and a grip surface floor. I additionally liked the night light that went on as you passed into the bathroom. It had a nice blue glow wit

The staff was really friendly and professional. Every time we came back to the hotel we were greeted with welcome back from two or three doormen. My stay was great including the free snacks in the room. Would love to stay there again.
