An old hotel with a lot of character. The room was clean and had a nice view of the water. The restaurant and bar were outstanding! The staff was great. There is no elevator, so stairs are a thing, but not bad. Parking is across the street. The bar has a Cheers vibe for sure! We had a great time.

Large, well-appointed room with corner views of the ocean. Bar/restaurant had a definite local feel - lots of neighborhood regulars. Only curious thing was a big sheet of weathered plywood leaning up against the front entrance. Removing it would spruce up the entrance.

We only stayed one night. The room was cold and as there are no staff after a certain time, we were unable to ask about heating. The hotel seemed very nice and a longer stay would have been nice. Beware there is no lift to the rooms upstairs.

Lovely Stay
My family and I had a lovely one night stay here. We stayed on the 3rd floor and it was pretty quiet the entire time. The room smelled great and was very clean. We had a nice view of the ocean too. The bed was very comfortable for both my husband and I. Our daughter slept on the bed from the sofa and felt comfortable also. Overall, a great place to stay and would like to come back someday.

I stayed there one night to catch an early flight from Logan airport. Place is extremely convenient if you are looking to dine and have a beauriful room to sleep at the same place. It is15 min away from Logan Airport (hotel is located east of Boston, hence less traffic and practical if you want to access airport really early in the morning). Also hotel is located in a cozy area facing the ocean. So you can see water and planes reaching Logan which is pretty cool. As said, bar/reastaurant is at the ground floor- i liked it a lot, looking forward staying there again.

The first night we stayed there we had a great room on the corner that was nicely decorated and had a view of the water. When we came back a few days later we had a different room and it was not so nice. The bed was too soft. The curtains were falling off the rod and it was not decorated very nice. Dark and old furnishings and furniture and it was cramped.

We stayed for one night;Only complaint I have is my friends that were checking in later than expected could not get ahold of anyone to let them know -and neither could I.They did eventually call us around 10:30 PM to see where we were -which is great since they lock the doors around 11!Bed was SUPER high which was tricky for us “average” height ladies lol,but comfy.

I loved the original tile floor in the lobby. It was beautiful! The woodwork throughout the downstairs area was stunning. As an appreciator of historical things, The Arms was a fantastic place! The food int he restaurant was excellent and every staff member we had contact with was very friendly and helpful.

Nice accommodations
Nice place to stay with a short trip to the airport. Neighborhood is walkable and Beachwalk on the water to enjoy the waterfront. The room was clean. We arrived after hours so instructions to gain room access were easy to follow. Perfect place for an overnight.
