When we arrived we were given a family room where the window wouldnt lock, you only had to lean on the window and it opened, not acceptable, especially with young children. We were then moved to the room next door which again had an issue with the window not shutting properly so there was a draft. When using the restaurant in the hotel for dinner, we waited an hour before being told our order actually hadnt been sent through to the kitchen and so it would be 15 more munutes. This turned into an extra 35 minutes, so in total we waited over an hour and a half for food. We were told there wasnt much they could do as their manager hadnt arrived that night due to a family emergency and there was no other manager in the hotel! At not one point were we told that breakfast finished at 9.30, there were no signs or notices, and so we arrived at 9.15 to be told we would have to hurry up as we had 15 minutes to eat before they cleared up the breakfast. Overall crap stay, bad service and definately wouldnt reccomend or go back there!

The staff in the bar/restaurant were extremely slow and chaotic. Could have been faster as by the time our food came out the kids had finished their buffet and we're running around 😔

Room was dirty, found McDonald’s wrappers under the bed must have been from previous guests and showed the level of cleaning. Room had damage to the walls and did not feel well kept in the corridor areas. No staff when we arrived to assist with check in and was very loud as a party was going on and very drunk people in reception area which scared our daughter. Would not stay again

The hotel reception is very welcoming, and the staff helpful, our room was excellent, clean, tidy & bed was very comfortable, our TV developed a fault, but the night porter was able to fix it. Parking is not an issue, plenty of spaces down the far end of the hotel. As for the Sports Bar, that is not our scene, was very noisy with background music being played to loud, family’s with young children & the very busy nature of the place was too much. Very difficult to even place your orders for food & drink without raising your voice. Great shame that there is not a quiet area (not your hotel room) where one can sit & enjoy your food & drink without so much noise & having to talk loudly to your partner/wife. We will hope fully return to the hotel again, but will not use the sports bar in its current form, it’s just too noisy for us. Overall will give this hotel an 9 out of 10.
