We stayed here due to convenience, frustratingly the cleanliness was not good. I ended up taking my own antibacterial wipes to clean surfaces & handles. There were some red and brown stains on the walls in the toilet and no hand towel provided. Reception smells like a toilet - otherwise fine

Very good, clean room and bathroom. Good shower
Thank you to the cleaners for preparing our room- it was spotless and very welcoming and much appreciated. There was plenty of room. The separate toilet was much better than being in the shower room as often is in these types of hotels. We parked in the hotel car park. The guy on reception wasn’t particularly welcoming but check in went ok.

Love it
Been here 3 to 4 nights a week for the last 2 years, get to know the staff. Rooms are refurbished constantly, i get the newest every month. Food ok nothing exciting but 2 course with a pint £20 is enough to fill you up. Also special plus a drink £16 diffrent every night. Pizza night, currynight , pie night, burger night, fish friday fresh beer batted fish,chips pies tartar sauce the best.

More handrails please in bathroom
C lean room reasonably comfortable. Main downside of room was insufficient fir for purpose handrails in shower room. Had gammon steak and chips but no peas, tomatoes or garnish provided with this dish. Breakfast was better than most as it appeared to be cooked in the kitchen rather than having awful self serve for hot food. Could have had a better fruit salad selection for breakfast.

The reception was perfunctory, no eye contact, no ‘conversation’, little smile, did the job but no more. Room was excellent and clean. Breakfast was very good with warm friendly attention from the staff on duty (a man). Happy to return again.
