We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express Braintree three times during our visit to the UK. We were particularly impressed by Kinliegh who seemed to be here, there and everywhere but still had time for the guests. Two observations, the temp controller in room 143 wasn't responding to altered settings and displaying an error message. The breakfast room seems inadequate for the number of guests compared to other Holiday Inn's, It's something we also noticed from a previous stay in 2016.

I was pleasantly surprised with the Holiday Inn express hotel in Braintree. Excellent service from very pleasant helpful staff. Room very clean and nice. Breakfast was also very good quality. Would recommend anyone to stay here.

It’s what we expected from a holiday inn express however the air conditioning unit in our room was far too noisy even when on its lowest speed, so we had to turn it off and then the room got far too hot. We couldn’t have the window open due to the noise of the traffic, therefore neither me or my wife got much sleep at all. Also there were some very inconsiderate noisy guests in the corridor outside our room in the early hours of the morning.

Fabulous, yes the rooms could do with a little updating and certainly the step up to the shwer in ny room may be an issue for others but its a great place to stay with the dog on travels. If you are with a dog, Cambridge services dont allow dogs inside but Rugby services is better and does. The staff at this HI werre all btilliant and breakfast has a good range of hot and cold options.

The hotel was clean throughout. The room was a good size and again very clean and nicely prepared. The staff were friendly and helpful. A minor issue with the showerhead was noted and I'm sure will be fixed

Great location just of A120. The staff are super nice and helpful. Always helping with a smile. The rooms are clean, comfortable and large. The breakfast is varied and very nice, with a Gluten free range. Also a lovely little bar for a cheeky little drink after a long day. Non alcoholic drink also available.
