Christmas vacay with family
Great house, with beautiful view. We had plenty of room for the whole family. House was close to everything we needed. We cooked lots of meals so the kitchen was nicely stocked with everything we needed. The only negative thing I can say is the jacuzzi tub did not work in the master bedroom.

4/10 Poor

Sharika R.

Beautiful but felt poorly maintained
This property is beautiful and was large enough for our group of 11 people. However, the number of issues we ran into during our short stay indicated poor maintenance, and the property manager was inconsistent and unhelpful. We would not recommend staying at this property. The driveway is steep, curved, and not properly maintained. (We were told the city does not allow parking on the street, so a usable driveway is absolutely essential.) We were careful to bring cars equipped for winter weather, but the driveway was so packed with snow and ice during our stay that our 4WD cars got stuck. Although snow melt was provided, it was inadequate and we had to call a tow truck – in the middle of our vacation – to move one of our cars. The stuck car was ultimately unusable for nearly two whole days. Luckily, there were no guests in the second half of the duplex or they would have been blocked in by our stuck car. The iciness was generally a safety hazard for us walking in and out of the house as well. Even with heavy-duty snow boots with good traction, the level of ice on the driveway and the stairs to enter the house caused multiple people to slip dangerously. Other driveways in the neighborhood were properly maintained and completely clear of snow and ice, indicating the property manager’s ability to avoid these safety issues with adequate care and attention. To make matters worse, the nighttime number provided by the property was completely unhelpful and did not provide true assistance. When we called for help with the driveway and our stuck car, an individual promised to send help the following day. No one arrived the following day. When we called back, we were told no help would be sent – contrary to what was promised the night before – and, absurdly, that we should try to purchase chains from Walmart using our car that was stuck on the driveway. Unfortunately, this level of service wasted our time rather than provide any real assistance. Some additional issues include: the sink in the half-bath and the tub in the shared jack and jill drains very slowly; the dishwasher didn’t fully drain the water during each load; the bathrooms did not have enough soap, and the kitchen lacked necessities like salt and oil. Finally, if you are unused to high altitudes, take precautions against altitude sickness and bring ibuprofen for the first few days as your body adjusts.

Nice Property Under Poor Management
We enjoyed our stay, however we had several issues with the management company. Within the first minutes of arriving I opened the dishwasher door, which had some sort of malfunction, and promptly fell off the safety latch crushing me in the process (180lb male). This door is roughly 40/50lbs and left me bruised. If it were my mom or girlfriend, they would have been seriously hurt. Additionally, we could not get the fireplace to work and one of the bedsheets was still dirty. I attempted to contact the management company 6+ times afterwards; I finally got though after a couple weeks. They were able to offer me $200, but not before blaming me for blackmailing them when asking for 20% off. In general, the house could be nice and we did enjoy our stay, but I would recommend finding a better company to support.

Great space with a few minor issues that can be fixed
Overall we really enjoyed our stay! The place is spacious with excellent views of the valley going toward Frisco/Silverthorne and is equipped with all you could need. The manager was quick to respond to questions. The upstairs King suite is great! Here are a few minor issues we noticed though: The kitchen sink leaks a bit if turned all the way to cold, the ice/water on the fridge doesn't work, it smelled musty in the basement when we came in, one of the twin quilts is nasty and should be replaced, the king bed frame appears to be broken as the bed sits really low with the box frame on the floor (doesn't match the online pictures, but is still very functional), the living room couches in the pictures aren't there (instead of 2 leather ones there is one large upholstered one which is comfy) and the living room chairs are old/ugly and not comfortable, the throw pillows in the living room are worn and should be replaced, there was only one dish towel in the kitchen.

Good Stay
Communication was great and they were responsive. The property is a bit far from town and the lifts. With covid restrictions the bus is limited and Uber/Lyfts limited too. Highly recommend using a car. The only complaint is that the lowest floor was very stuffy since there’s not much air circulation. Maybe because the floors were heated? The pull out couch on the bottom floor was broken but I communicated with them and they provided us with blow up mattress. I was told they were in the process of getting a replacement. Overall the stay was pleasant.

Great rental
We spend a long weekend at the property in early March. Property is well outfitted and fit our group perfectly. Views are incredible and location is convenient to all that we had planned. Only issue was with the key lockbox which we never got opened. Used the garage door to access the property the entire stay.
