the staff are so lovely - a family team - who care about each of their guests and are interested in you and genuinely engage with you. The food is fantastic - they offer a smaller menu than other places might - however because of this, it is locally sourced, cooked freshly and is beautiful - flavoursome = our group had something from each of the choices of menu each evening and breakfast and everyone was so pleased with what they had. Nice touches - tea and cake on arrival - pre-dinner sherry in the rooms - lovely bar and lounge area - excellent selection of different gins to try. Beautiful grounds and gardens. What's not to love about the place.
