Monarch has a good location, decor a bit dated but spotlessly clean, good bed, linen and towels very clean. Good breakfast, and they did gluten free for me which was good. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Overnight Theatre rhh
We received a warm and friendly welcome from Carl on reception the rooms were comfortable the bedding towels were extremely clean shame it doesn’t have light snacks available in the hotel bar the service from the staff who served us our breakfast was polite and helpful especially Derick who was a ray of sunshine 🌞 in the morning we booked it due to bringing my mam to see Jane McDonald at the Spa Theatre and we couldn’t have picked a better hotel for both service and been just opposite the Spa Theatre certainly one to return too especially if attending anything at Spa Theatre
Great location friendly staff, lovely breakfast. Four of us enjoyed our one night stay here just across the road from Brid Spa where we attended a concert.
Had a one night stay with my daughters.the room was very spacious and clean.
The staff were lovely and friendly,
Breakfast was great and plenty of it. the staff serving breakfast were just wonderful,
Would stay again if in bridlington
Cosy sea view rooms overlooking the beach and Bridlington Spa, very friendly staff, nice breakfast/bar with nice views. Limited car park, rooms a little bit frayed round the edges, but a lovely 2* hotel in a great location at a decent price. Recommended for a short break.

Our Wedding Anerversery weekend away
We enjoyed our stay at the Monarch hotel the staff was friendly and helpful, the room was ok nothing special as the tv was very small and difficult to see the chairs were not good to sit on but this did not stop us enjoying our stay there and we would go back again.
Cannot comment on the food as we went out to eat each night for food, The hotel had entertainment on which was very pleasant to come back to on a evening, we also took our little dog with us and the staff were very pleasant with him so yes we had a good time at the Monarch Hotel and would go back.
So thank you to the staff and management at the Hotel

Lovely budget hotel with good attention to guests
I have based this review taking into account the price paid. It is a lovely place and the staff couldn't have been nicer. It is clean and the breakfast had a good choice including kippers and was cooked to order.
The room itself was dated and better mattresses could be provided. That said it was clean and I we did sleep very well.
Just opposite the Spa complex and right on the edge of town.
Yes, we would stop again.
One night stay for nothing more than a bit of sea air. Staff were absolutely lovely letting me park vehicle on arrival and explained everything. Room was great with balcony and a terrific sea view. Although bathroom was perhaps a little tired it was very clean and shower was good. Breakfast was very quickly served despite being busy and was very good . Location for spa is literally a stones throw... We will certainly look at booking again at Monarch 😀

Enjoyable stay
Found parking a bit of a challenge because we arrived on a very busy day and no parking spaces at hotel or anywhere else I could see. Eventually found an hour slot and went to check in at hotel with my elderly mother, this was a bit of a walk for her. Asked about parking (which is very limited at the hotel) and the lovely receptionist (her name is Francesca) told us when parking was available. My husband has walking difficulties so this was very welcome. Hotel is dated but really enjoyed our stay. Was really surprised that there were no toiletries apart from 2 packs of soap. I booked 3 rooms and ours was £180 for a sea view for 2 nights with breakfast so did expect some little luxuries. Do not know what the food was like for lunch or dinner but the breakfast was excellent, quality ingredients and cooked very well.
Hotel is in a brilliant position but the staff made this hotel for us.

Worn out hotel in need of a serious makeover.
If like the most of the guests in this hotel you are in your 80’s and like coach trips it’s probably great. But if you’re a business traveler it’s probably not the place for you. There’s no WiFi in the rooms and no parking on site.

Enjoyable stay with excellent customer service
A traditional seaside hotel with a great location. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was excellent-served in a relaxed dining room which looks out over the sea. The hotel is a little tired with some much needed attention required to some of the bathrooms. However-this seems to be in progress and didn't spoil our stay.
Hotel staff excellent and most helpful, they couldn't do enough to help make our stay more comfortable. Breakfast was lovely and cooked to perfection. Despite the fact the lift is very small and struggled with a wheelchair, general decor is a bit tired but we would still stay again as all the staff are lovely.
Room alright plenty to do this as lift well nice x
