This is definitely not a 4-star in my opinion. Comparable to 3-3.5 in North America. 5mins walk to some plaza but lots restaurants/stores are closed. Bad noise proof. Next to major expressway so pretty noisy at night. Staff are nice and friendly. Free shuttle to airport but no pickup, which is fair. Taxi from Brisbane airport to here only 10 mins away cost $41 AUD. During the mid of a day, still SO DAMN hard to get a Uber from airport to the hotel. 30mins wait but No driver is willing to take the request. Should consider staying at the airport hotel if just for transit.

Our overnight stay at Kingsford Smith hotel Hamilton, Brisbane was excellent. Friendly receptionist and very nice spacious hotel room. Walking distance to restaurants and only a 10minute drive to catch an early morning flight to International airport. Would highly recommend!

This was a really nice hotel in great proximity to the airport and the guy who checked me in was very friendly and professional. The room itself was very small, but still comfortable. I think the biggest downside was the bathroom. It’s so old and dated... Looked like 1980’s style. The shower door was mouldy and wouldn’t close properly so the floor was soaked and the shower mixer was difficult to use and the hot/cold signs on the mixer were missing. The bedside light wasn’t working either. I’d stay here again but I would be requesting a room that had been updated and at the back of the hotel away from the busy Intersection.

Amazing - Friendly staff, very helpful if you don't know the area. Clean rooms and very stylish. Beds and pillows were good quality. Com water and milk and biscuits and choccies was a lovely touch. Will definitely stay again.
