Novotel has dropped the ball with its room quality. Bed was uncomfortable. Mirror on inside door of wardrobe is unusable because the door cannot open enough to use it. Milk in fridge is so tiny it barely provides enough for one cup of coffee each. Toilet paper is shockingly low quality and won’t be a saving for the hotel because in order not to put your fingers through it (yuk) you need to use twice as much. On the upside the shower is really good as are the lovely big thirsty bath towels. However the bathroom is so small it doesn’t provide room for two to navigate past each other. Generally I was really disappointed with the way this group of hotels has become very ordinary

We did not have a good experience as we were given a basic room even though we booked and paid extra for a premier. Apparently they had no more rooms available as had some aircon issues. The room and beds were too small for a family of 4. Novotel refused to compensate for this.

Here's another sample review: "I stayed at the Novotel Brisbane Airport recently and was underwhelmed by the experience. The room was comfortable, but the price was far too high for what you get. The additional fee for car parking was the icing on the cake. It's unacceptable to charge guests extra for parking, especially when it's not clearly disclosed upfront. Unless you're desperate for a place to stay near the airport, I'd recommend exploring other options that offer better value for money."

Room fine. Quiet and clean. Staff very helpful and a very decent restaurant. I’d definitely stay again. The only negative is a musty smell on carpeted areas which is pretty normal with some hotels. Not a complaint though.

We had a great stay both times. Greeted by friendly staff with an efficient check in and the room was clean and surprisingly quiet given the proximity to the airport. We enjoyed a delicious meal in the restaurant “Catalina” and a restful sleep before continuing our journey. Thank you.
