This is a difficult review to write because if you are the owner of a dog and are looking for somewhere to stay then it is perfect. However, as dogs are welcome in the communal areas and one urinated beside one of our party and it's owners made no attempt to clean it up it was quite off putting. The housekeeping was hit and miss; towels not replaced, the tea tray not replenished and sink not cleaned. The reason it has three stars is because the staff were really polite and helpful, the food in the restaurant was really good and the hotel is in a really good location

Overall a very pleasant stay. We stayed onion our way to Devon On my arrival back home a week later I had received a letter containing a parking fine for parking at the hotel overnight, and although this was rectified by a telephone call to the Hotel it was an inconvenience I could have done without.

Nice enough hotel, swimming pool is too small and jacuzzi wasn’t working. Beds were comfy, breakfast wasn’t 4star (2-3) and the hallways make it feel like a hospital. We loved the cookies on arrival which were a nice touch.

The Hotel Staff were all pleasant & accommodating. The check in /out times were flexible - where possible- & the late checkout time of 12Noon meant the last morning at the Hotel was relaxed & stress free . This places greater organisation for changeovers on the cleaning staff , but for the benefit of the Guests. This is something other Hotels could consider IF the Guests are truly their main focus.

All staff I came across were very nice and professional especially those in the health club. Rooms could be modernised but comfy and clean otherwise. Limited options for food but can’t be helped with the location. Extremely minor thing but upon check-in when asking if we’re going swimming just let people know towels are included and also that £1 is needed for the lockers. Didn’t take my wallet so wasn’t able to use a locker and had to take my things poolside. Fine but a little inconvenient, may be different for others.
