Staying with a child shouldn’t be such an inconvenience. I lived in Vegas for years as a child and was never made to walk around the entire outside of the building to go to a restaurant especially while being a customer staying the night. We were told that my husband, child and I had to walk from the hotel part, outside in 20 degree weather, all the way around the building to get to the restaurant or we could “sweet talk” security into taking us around. We get to the room and the AC isn’t working so we call down, they send maintained up and he says “well I reset it but it probably won’t fix it so just call down again” it was 10pm and we had traveled for 12 hours that day already! We did not want to pack back up and move rooms. This hotel is set up very poorly and customer service is an absolute joke!!

We stopped by this new hotel-casino to break our drive from NOVA to NC. The casino itself is relatively small, but we found it to be ok. We weren’t expecting Vegas quality considering the location, but the staff were friendly. The line for drinks was very long, food is somewhat limited IMO, and expect the smell of cigarette smoke (like most casinos). The hotel itself was renovated pretty well, and checkin went smoothly. We were on the third floor and unfortunately we had to make a noise complaint by calling the front desk at 2am due to vibrations from the music keeping us awake (on a Thursday). My main complaint was the dirty bedding which I cannot overlook at any hotel. There is no reason for it, especially for a newly renovated facility, and while I did report it at checkout, I should have probably asked for our money back due to our disrupted sleep and the fact I had to sleep on top of the bedding. It was later in the evening when we noticed it, else I would have asked for a different room. We will not return most likely and I suggest you set your expectations before you go.

Room was clean. The doors slam shut and if you’re in a connecting room, the door to that is paper thin. We could hear everything our neighbor was doing. Wouldn’t recommend if you’re a light sleeper but overall not terrible.

This is a very nice property. My only disappointment was getting kicked out of the lobby bar when we stopped in for an after dinner drink. Evidently they had an impersonator performing somewhere around the bar. Don’t need the B S or hassle of finding a seat. We called it a early night and watched a Christmas movie in our room.

It was very easy to park and get checked in. The room was very nice. Wanted to eat in the bar area but no help. Got a seat in restaurant. Wanted mason jar drink but all out. Ordered a hurricane drink but never got the glass. Was over charged only by $1 on dinner but why doesn’t the menu match the charge? They fixed the bill. Beautiful place.

While the room was nice, there was no hot water! It was barely lukewarm. They had no other rooms so I see why orbitz was booking it. I had just returned from a hike in the Appalachian mtns and was looking forward to a hot shower and I shivered under lukewarm water. Never again.

Very friendly people. We had a great time. Front deck people were great. Close to Dover speedway for Christmas light show which was wonderful definitely recommend to do that if your visiting in December.

Spacious Rooms and Clean!
The hotel room was wonderful and spacious. Bed was a bit firm, however comfortable. The only issue was you walk into the hotel in the smoking section of the casino. It makes you smell instantly and effects breathing. You also have to walk through smoking sections to all restaurants and sit in smoking area for the cafe. Not ideal for non-smokers. Parking was difficult and no sidewalks to gain entry to hotel. Staff was friendly, however not knowledgeable of the property. Walls are also thin so you hear your neighbors. If you like a casino vibe and spacious rooms, the above may not matter to you.
