Broadstairs perfect family house

A true home away from home, dog friendly holiday cottage five minutes walk from the Blue Flag beach at Stone Bay in Broadstairs, Kent.
The perfect location to relax; far enough away from the hubbub of the busy town though still only walking distance to the train station, High Street, pubs and restaurants and the sandy beaches of Stone and Viking Bay.

Free off street parking for one small to medium vehicle with plenty of free unrestricted on street parking available right outside for larger or additional vehicles.

Eightysixbythesea is a 1930's semi-detached house that sleeps six people in three first floor bedrooms, one double, one king, and one twin room, with the ability to sleep a further two on a comfy sofa bed in the music room on the ground floor.

Towels and bedlinen are provided (please provide your own beach towels). There is a first floor bathroom with a walk in wet room style shower, a bath and a toilet.
There is also a separate ground floor toilet with sink.

Enter the house up two steps into a bright hallway with original exposed floorboards. Off the hall to the left is the music room with piano, which also serves as a playroom (with a tv and x-box one). To the right is the cosy sitting room with tv, blue-ray dvd player and book lined alcoves.
To the rear of the ground floor is the well-equipped kitchen/dining conservatory with blue tooth speaker, open fire, gas hob, oven, microwave/combi, dishwasher, fridge-freezer, washer/dryer, Tassimo coffee maker, juicer and bread maker.
An extendable table and chairs look out onto the established garden, ideal for breakfast or dinner. Bi-fold doors open onto the courtyard and large terraced, private garden with table tennis, comfy seating and gas barbecue.

Free wifi is provided along with a basic hairdryer, iron and ironing board, travel cot (please provide your own travel cot mattress and bedding), bed guard rail, high chair and pressure fit stair gates.
A small selection of games and dvd's for your use in the cottage can be found in the music room.

A maximum of two well-behaved dogs are welcome, but we ask that they do not lay on the chairs, sofas and bedlinen.

There is currently no dedicated charging point for electric vehicles at this property. If you are travelling in an electric vehicle and wish to charge it during your stay please arrange this with us in advance. A daily additional charge will apply.

Food hampers are available by prior request. There is free off street parking on the driveway for one medium sized car, and free unrestricted on street parking available directly outside the property.

The train station and nearest bus stop are a 5 minute walk away. By train, Medieval Canterbury is 25 minutes, London St Pancras 1 hour and 20 mins, Ashford International 40 mins. You should hopefully find everything you need, but if something is missing, damaged or you can’t find what you’re looking for please let us know so we can make your stay as enjoyable and relaxing as possible. We live locally and are just a phone call away (although a text message/whats app is usually best as the phone reception in Broadstairs can be a bit patchy).

Eightysixbythesea is located on a quiet cul-de-sac a five minute walk from the train station, High Street, pubs and restaurants and sandy beaches. It's close enough to walk everywhere but just far enough away from the hubbub to relax away from the crowds. There are local food shops and takeaways on the High Street, and a large supermarket approximately a 7 minute drive away. There are regular buses and trains if you want to venture further afield, with bus stops and the train station a 5 minute walk away. Parking outside the property can be in high demand on a hot summer day but there is off-street parking for one medium car with the ability to park another across the driveway. On street parking outside the property is free and unrestricted. If your stay is during peak or bank holidays and you wish to dine in a particular restaurant we highly recommend booking early as Broadstairs gets very busy, and restaurants tend to be fully booked well in advance.
During your stay at this holiday home, you're just a quick walk from Isle of Thanet. An arcade/games room is available. Free WiFi and a kitchen are available in the holiday home.
