The hotel is excellent for seeing Bruges as within easy walking distance of the centre. The staff were very helpful and happy. The bed was so comfortable I didn’t want to get out!! Breakfast was amazing too lots of choices. My only concern are the steps up to reception and to reach the lift to 2nd building which are not good if you have a disability plus a suitcase.

Luxury in the Heart of Bruges
We had a lovely, too-short stay (just one night) at the luxurious Grand Hotel Casselbergh. We stayed in the Prince Henry suite, beautifully appointed and exactly as shown in photos online. Separate toilet & shower/tub/sink was convenient to accommodate getting ready in the morning. Lots of lighting options, effective shades on windows & skylights made sleeping very comfortable. Everything was clean and we were pleased to have L'Occitane toiletries and complimentary water in the room. The front desk staff were very helpful and knowledgeable, making check in/out simple, offering restaurant recommendations and watching our bags after checkout and calling a cab for us quickly when departing. The evening service at the bar was a little slow, but drinks were tasty and the sitting rooms were gorgeous. The location is so convenient, $15 cab ride to and from the train station, and the hotel is right in the center of things. Restaurant Diligence across the street was another high point of our visit. Would stay again for sure, what a treat and a pleasure.
