Or hotel room was wonderful, but what stood out the most about this hotel was how helpful the staff was. My husband has an emergency and the staff was able to help us by ordering us a taxi and providing the info to the driver where we needed to go. Overall during our stay they provided lots of helpful information that made our time in Bruges wonderful! You should definitely stay at this hotel if you want to be cared for.

Luxurious art and decor, comfortable clean room and bathroom. Location on canal was picturesque and had great view (but frequent boat tours produced some noise). Close to restaurants, etc. Very walkable area. Small shallow stairs and elevator, and stiff door locks c/w antique character, need to be considered for mature guests. Helpful front desk staff.

This hotel was the highlight of my visit to Bruges. Ideally, located down a little hidden side street on a canal, old world, charm, great staff, beautiful room. Definitely try to get a room with a view of the canal. The room was one of the most unique Rooms I’ve ever stayed in - Reminiscent of an old world, medieval castle.

This was singularly the best end to end experience I’ve ever had at a hotel. The room, amazing. The staff, incredible. Check in was difficult. The lady refused to believe that my friend & I had separate reservations for separate rooms and put us together. She thought we were joking. Totally unprofessional. Had to read her the riot act to get her to actually check what we were telling her. Unbelievable!!
