The room was dark. The bed was hard and uncomfortable. A foam topper was over a hard mattress, but it moved and made us feel like we were falling off the bed. At 4:30 am, the fire alarm went off with a canned message telling us to evacuate the hotel. This was in French and English. The alarm stopped, but no message alerted us that everything was ok or we still needed to evacuate. We found out later that day a staff member put bread in a toaster and then walked away to the toilet, forgetting about the toast that started to burn. When we returned to our room that evening, there was a letter from the staff apologizing for the inconvenience of being terrified at 4:30 in the morning. They provided a certificate for a free drink to make up for the trouble. Really? We were already back in the room for the night and had to leave early to catch a train the following day when nothing was open. A complimentary drink doesn't make up for the fire alarm and an additional slap in the face when nothing is open to use the certificate.

It was a good all round experience. Staff were friendly. The rooms comfortable and well looked after. The hot breakfast could be improved and the food quality and options in the cafe also need to be reviewed. However, a good hotel and I would stay here again.

The service level at this hotel is amazing. Quickly resolved any issue's and queries. The breakfast was a typical continental breakfast; however certain things did run out and were not replaced. Our room was very big for our family and clean. Great central location for walking to the surrounding attractions.

The Hotel Indigo location is a gem. Is has everything you need in a location. Metro right across and next to metro there’s Starbucks. And then there’s city walk with endless shopping and great restaurants.

Hotel itself was lovely, room rather small. It was more the location, whilst a good spot, 5 minutes from train station and 15 minute walk to the main areas. A lot of homeless begging for money and got quite aggressive at times when you do not give or try and walk past, but this is not the hotels fault. Long as not having to walk alone I would recommend.

Had high expectations, but the rooms were weirdly configured. The lights were either ALL on or ALL OFF. Impossible to just have one on, never had that before. The toilet in the bathroom was so close to the sink that one was partially pushed into the metal legs of the sink which made it very uncomfortable. I liked that they provided bottles and fountains on every floor. The restaurant was supposed to be vegetarian with vegan options but they served plenty of meat. The vegan menu we had was a big disappointment, the appetizer was sour and the dessert inedible. They acknowledged that and made something else but if they knew it was bad, why serve it at all? Would not recommend.

I liked staying here, it was off the busy area of the Grand Place but right next to a major train station (Rogier) where you could take the train anywhere. It's walking distance to the gran place (~20mins) and 15minutes walk from the bank of Belgium where alot of tour buses pick up from. The hotel itself is beautiful and I really enjoyed their abundance of breakfast options. The rooms were also really nice and peaceful. My biggest gripe about the hotel was the bathroom. They are doing a save water mission which I completely commend but it sucks when the water takes FOREVER to drain so if you brush your teeth or when your showering the water is still there. I had to get in the habit of coming back in 20mins or so if I can to take a cup of water and rinsing the sink out because of the slow drain. My other big gripe is the elevators. Even with 3 elevators you're still waiting for a considerable amount of time to use it because for some reason they all are not able to work at the same time. However it's a lovely hotel and wouldn't mind staying if I was to go back.
