Noise. So much noise! Appreciate that the hotel can’t control outside noise but thrrr we’re workmen constructing road barriers until gone midnight (they didn’t start until close to 11pm). Then some guy come up and just before 8 am starts banging very loudly and drilling in the room next door to me!! That definitely was the hotels doing! What on earth is going on? How can you charge €€€€€ per night for this experience?! It doesn’t matter how good the view is, or how comfy the beds are, this is awful customer service.

Welcome service - not so welcoming - could not care less upon our arrival! Had been at The Hotel several times and therefore chose The Hotel (and the breakfast) because the breakfast area is really cosy which was essential during a weekend stay. Due to many guest (I guess) the breakfast was relocated to a un-interested ballroom - very disappointing!
