The check in process was a little difficult. The WiFi was broken and we were not informed until after we checked in. We were told it was getting fixed that day, but it wasn’t, and never did get fixed over the 3 days we were there. We would not have stayed there if we knew this. The room was bare boned. The couch and bean bag chairs were kind of gross. For the price and location I could deal with it though. Robin/staff member was friendly when we checked in, but ignored us when we reached out about the WiFi not working. Would not recommend this place

The owners were always quick to reply and polite about it. The property had a few broken items but nothing detrimental to holiday :) we had a great time and the apartment was so close to everything! Can’t wait to return.

The property was nothing like you see in the pictures. There was no access when we got to the property and the walk to the stairs on the ground floor was dangerous. There was a door that was code controlled that open into a derelict walkway to stairs that had not been maintained at all and very dangerous, especially in the dark.

Very sketchy when you open door to hallway with uneven stones, go up two flights of stairs with bannister wobbly. Room with bare basics in good location,

DISGUSTINGLY DIRTY AND NO RECPETION
While the website says there is reception from 1400-1900 there is not. After getting off a 10hr flight, arriving in Budapest at approx 1300, we finally got to hour hotel at 1430. There is a small sign that says to dial a number to be let it. We dialed the same number, standing outside exhausted, for over 30 minutes. Someone who happened to live in the same building saw us and let us in. The small hall way clearly hasn't been washed or maintained since it was built, broken and smashed tiles, dust, bugs, and mice every where, and about as littered as you could imagine. Supposedly reception is on the first floor so we carried our luggage up the the reception desk. At this point (1500) there was no one at the small reception door, the door was closed with a sign that said opened. We knocked on the door, no one answered. Attempted download an app that they use for communication but being that we dont have service in Hungary, it didnt help. Hoping someone would eventually show, we waited until well after 1600, and no one. So much for reception service 1400-1900. NEARLY 2 HOURS AN NO ONE. Finally had to find a new hotel, hoping someone had something available for same day booking for 4 nights. After emailed the buisness for a solution, all I was told was that someone was there from 1400- 1900 and it's possible they stepped away for 10 minutes. UNLESS YOU WANT TO RISK FINDING A NEW HOTEL SAME DAY, STAY AWAY, or share a room with bugs and mice. Absolutely awful.

Affordable for a short stay in the city centre
The apartments are located in a relatively central area which makes them affordable for the rate offered. They are located in a relatively old building which is clearly seen but mine was in a condition good enough for a short stay. The bathroom is small but it has the necessary amenities and the wifi worked well too. The only difficulty was with the check-in, the reception closes at 7pm (i.e. not at 8pm as it was originally written on this page) and they started texting me and even calling pretty early before this time asking about the exact time of my arrival which was rather unexpected and disturbing. On the positive side, they seem to have a mechanism for late check in so this can be good if someone can only arrive later than during the opening hours.

Staying in this property were very stressed!
We were given Room No.7 on the 16th Sept. The water pipe burst and the water was pouring heavily and woke us up in the middle of our sleep. Those guests living in the lower floor (Ground floor) were affected, the water kept flowing down to their ceiling, putting their live in dangerous. And because of this reason, I have to use a bucket to collect the water and pour into the wc. This collecting and pouring of water continued for more than an hour, which have an impact on my physical body. We also very stressful, as the phone number provided at the counter was not helpful, we were not able to get hold of the owner. About 30 min later, we have no other option, therefore decided to knock at Room No. 4 door, asked the lady to help us phone the owner. Unfortunately, she also not able to get hold of the owner. About 20 min later, 3 ladies from Room No. 2 came back, and they helped us to contact the owner. We were much stressed and tired, and my whole body still ache badly. I therefore decided to make a complaint on 22nd Sept, asking for a refund, as we desire a fair deal. Hotels.com staffs were very patient and tried to help me to request for a refund. Unfortunately, the owner did not respond to them, until, today, which is my 4th times calling the Hotels.com. Eventually, the owner decided to refund only one nightly rate, which is £26.58. While, Hotels.com staffs are more understanding, they recognise our stress and issue me a £30 voucher. Thank you all the ladies for helping us.

BAD EXPERIENCE
I highly recommend to avoid this place, if someone wants to enjoy a stay in Budapest. The stuff is OK, but they always make a noise during a day. Unfortunetely the rooms are seperated by "paper wall", so you can hear your neigbours and as a result you can not rest and sleep very well, which is not their fault, but the owner´s. I stayed there for 3 days, but it was a nightmare - without any exaggeration. I hope my review will help you to choose the right place in BP...

All well until I checked my bank statement
I stayed at the hotel for only one night, and everything was great. It was quiet, the room was clean and spacious. I had a late check-in, and they offered me the info promptly when I asked them through email. Since I had a late check-in, I paid in cash the morning after my stay. However, I was really disappointed when I found out they charged me AGAIN through my bank card info I provided here, so I emailed them about it, and this time, they didn't reply, and of course, didn't refund to my card either. Be careful when using this hotel!

My Stay was very bad, They change my hostel without asking me and the staff was very bad. The owner of the hostel his very bad and dont have sense how to talk with us. We was having lunch and he came and shout on us. Never go in this hostel again..
