We really enjoyed our stay at Hilton Gardens Downtown Burlington. The location couldn’t be better. Church Street and surrounding area with great restaurants and shops are steps away so we didn’t have to use the car which was a definite plus. Parking is tight downtown so we paid to have valet parking at the hotel and felt that it was worth the additional cost. Teddy at the front desk was great with info and recommendations and Matt at the hotel bar/restaurant was super. Everyone was friendly. We enjoyed the use of the pool and fitness room during our stay, and loved waking up to the views of Lake Champlain. No complaints at all!

The staff was very friendly and helpful. I appreciated their professionalism, but I was incredibly disappointed with my stay. The room was very expensive. Because it’s a Hilton, I thought the inside of the hotel would look very nice, but it looked more like a mid-range hotel. I was particularly disappointed with the beds. Usually when you stay at a high end hotel, the mattresses are so comfortable, but our bed was not comfortable. I slept poorly because of it. The location is great, but I hope that Hilton will make some important upgrades to this property.

Unfortunately, there is massive construction happening around this hotel and it feels unsafe, especially at night. The staff were fantastic and the room was nice. Beds super comfy!

Top Choice in Downtown Burlington
A beautiful remodeled hotel in a central and vibrant section of Main Street Burlington, a 3 minute walk to the Champlain waterfront, Pine Street arts and brewery corridor, and Church Street shopping area. Reasonably priced. No parking lot, so it’s either $24 for valet, limited time metered parking, or, as I did, a 3-4 block walk from a free neighborhood spot. One privacy misstep: room was cleaned on 2nd of 3 night stay despite putting “No Thanks” tag on door. (Clerk agreed and apologized.)
