Relaxing
We went to this property for our anniversary and to just get away from everything, couldn't have picked a better spot with mother nature suppling the only noise we wanted the creek falls right outside the cabin. The leaves were changing so the artist of mother nature changed daily. We just relaxed and hardly ever left the area, we had a fire most nights. We would really like to come back and have a chance to take a dip in the pool beneath the falls. Thanks again!

Perfect Weekend Getaway
Our family had a wonderful weekend getaway. The cabin is small, but well thought-out, and we had everything we needed. It was cozy for me, my husband and our two little boys. The outdoor space is gorgeous, and our boys loved playing in the stream on the property. Easy drive to downtown Burnsville and Mt Mitchell state park. Would recommend to others.

We Did Not Want To Leave!!
My husband and I spent a long weekend in this adorable cabin. We had everything we needed and more. We went to sleep to the sound of the water from the creek on the property. We cooked our dinner in the outdoor area filled with eclectic decor. We relaxed by the fire pit beside the creek, The covered porch was where we spent most of our time while at the cabin. The tin roof during a rain storm was awesome!! This cabin is perfect for a couple looking for a place to get away from it all. The owner was great to work with and we enjoyed meeting him. Great Hospitality! Can't wait to return to this little piece of paradise! Sondra Skibbe

What a perfect little cabin in the woods!
We had a wonderful time at this perfect little cabin in the woods. It was a little rainy and windy during our stay so we didn't get to spend as much time in the outdoor space as we would have liked but the cabin was so cozy and comfortable. Jack and Jim have everything you need and lots of extra touches that make this a special place. The town of Burnsville is super cute too with shops and eateries. Thanks for a great weekend getaway!

Warm, comfortable, and welcoming up in the beauty of the North Carolina mountains.
We absolutly loved our stay. It was the perdect space for the four of us and the pups. It was close to the family we were visiting and of course the scenery was amazing. We had every thing we needed. The decor was fabulous and nice to see Jim and Jacks personal touches. We all came away refreshed and relaxed.

Charming and delightful!
We had a wonderful time! The property is beautiful, with two ways to access the creek, interesting decorations and art from all over the world, and easy walking access to a mountain hike. It's a cozy home - best for a small family or couple - but the outdoor spaces and fire pit kept us outside anyhow. burnsville is nearby and has lots of fun shops and local art.

Great place for a family to enjoy the mountains without a lot of effort
My wife and three kids enjoyed this cabin because it combined proximity to the forests, creeks and waterfalls of the Pisgah National Forest with the ease of having most camping needs supplied. The owners supplied firewood, utensils, plates, water, cooking equipment (indoor and outdoor)--all the basics. We just needed our own food and beverages. The kids enjoyed hiking the nearby mountains and swimming in the creeks. Also, downtown Burnsville is only about 25 minutes away if you need to go to the store or want to eat at a bar or restaurant. The cabin and bunkhouse were clean. At night you sleep listening to the sound of the roaring creek. Highly recommended.

Gorgeous property with a quaint and lovely little cabin!!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The cabin is small but has everything needed for a getaway weekend. Not only is the cabin enjoyable, but Jack has created little seating areas along the creek in different scenic spots. We took drinks and snacks to a different spot each morning and afternoon. There are paths to hike through the woods and with the creek to guide us, we never worried about not being able to find our way back to the cabin. Bring your food and wine from the market in town and you'll have all the ingredients of a perfect stay!!
