Skip this hotel and stay at Grand Josun Busan instead. This hotel is overpriced and overrated. It’s the only hotel on Haeundae Beach with direct access to the beach which is a plus in some parts of the world but Haeundae Beach is so bad that you don’t want to go in anyway. Instead of installing a shower for their guests to rinse off after the beach they provide you a tiny air gun which is useless against wet sand. LOL. They charge you for everything. $5 for ice because there is no ice machine. $70 for a nice comforter for the pullout sofa although a thin crapy blanket is free. Pool is so crowded that it’s more like a hot tub. Nasty but it’s like that in Korea based on my two weeks of travel in Korea. This hotel has past its prime and needs to be rebuilt. You can tell because it’s shorter than surrounding buildings and uglier.

The Hotel is located in Central Haewoondae and everything is walkable. Lots of restaurants, cafes, even night markets are nearby and easy access to the beach (just 1mins walk). The room was very clean and the bed was comfy. The staff were always very friendly and polite. It was my 2nd visit to Paradise hotel. I was quite satisfied with everything. I definitely come back here again.

My overall experience staying at the hotel was nice. But it was very apparent the Bar and Plate restaurant staff, wasn’t fluent in speaking English, at least the ones I encountered. There was definitely a language barrier, throughout my stay. It was also apparent Brown Americans, people of color are not frequent guest at the hotel. I received frequent stares from hotel guest as well as a few staff members.

This is the second time we stay here since last summer. It’s seafront location is perfect and so is the the view from the room! I love their outdoor hot tubs and swimming pool. All staff are courteous and friendly. I live in the US and come back to Busan, my hometown every year. My time here is a really holiday where I can relarest and enjoy the sea, , views, food, etc!

I did a lot of research before going on this trip. I chose a junior suite because it came with pool/spa access and lounge access. It was very expensive, but j felt these perks made it worth it. The lounge was only open in two hour increments (breakfast, teatime and happy hour) and only served beer and wine at happy hour. The buffet at breakfast was very disappointing as it seemed to be the leftovers from the buffet that could be purchased. When I added the math up, a regular room with purchase of the morning buffet would have been much better as this buffet is twice as big with much fresher food. The bar and restaurants within the hotel also had very limited menus and were incredibly expensive. The room service was advertised as 24/7, but in all reality, you could only order from a 3 or 4 item snack menu after 10pm. Unfortunately we couldn’t even use the pool or spa it was so crowded. We tried multiple times, but there was literally no space. The amenities on the Expedia page advertises a swim up bar and poolside bar, alas there is no swim up bar and the poolside bar is a snack bar. After seeing all of the hotels around the area and speaking with our friends staying in surrounding places, like the signiel and josun, I think there were better options with the same ocean views that would have cost us way less money and given us a better experience.
